    The Cove is Exquisite

    As soon as you pull up to the entrance immediately you realize the scale and size of the Cove property and the urge to explore sets in. Your eye wanders taking in the incredible lobby and open concourse where you’ll experience your first feel of the Ocean Breeze. Our check in was swift and we were greeted by our gracious Butlers who escorted our group up to our Sapphire 2-bedroom suite. The Rooms are incredible with unobstructed views of the Beach and Atlantis Property. We were thrilled with the space, the large living & dining area, and the spacious patio to sit and take in evening sunsets. The adjacent connecting Rooms are outfitted with 2 Queen beds, perfect for kids or anyone travelling in a larger group. Upon exploring the Property, you realize how expansive Atlantis truly is. The Royal Tower where most of the restaurants are located is about a 10-15 min walk from the Cove or relax and wait for the Shuttle to whisk you over. We enjoyed the walk as it gave us a chance to explore and stop by the Turtle & Fishponds. If you’re looking for that extra pampering, the Mandara Spa is world class and offers a variety of treatments for individuals or couples. If you’re going to skip the Spa, you should at least pop in to see the impressive area, water-features and artwork. Throughout the day we visited the number of pools & Aquaventure waterpark. The Power Tower & Mayan Temple offer a variety of water & tube slides for any age level. The lazy river is a great way to unwind with the kids and take in the scenery around the grounds. If you’re brave enough for a 50Ft drop, check out the Abyss water slide, we admit, it took some convincing to try it but we were glad we did. There are far too many restaurants to review but our favourite was NOBU, the fresh sushi was decadent and left us wanting more. The nightlife is plentiful from the Casino, countless lounges and walks through Marina Village. The super Yachts moored in the Marina are impressive and will grab your attention immediately as you walk around the Village. If you’re lucky enough to be there over the Christmas & New Year’s Holiday’s the Junkanoo celebrations are impressive and exciting to watch. If that’s not enough, experience the underwater aquariums “The Dig”, your tour begins in the underground viewing area, immediately your taken back at the sheer size of the aquariums. The experience was breathtaking, peaceful and complemented with countless fish starring back at you. You could spend hours trying to review every aspect of the Atlantis experience and it still wouldn’t do it justice. The experience is 5 Star and I highly recommend that anyone visiting Paradise Island in Nassau put Atlantis on your list of things to do even if you aren’t staying there. You won’t be disappointed.

    My husband and I scheduled our first anniversary trip here. Due to COVID-19 and the resort being closed, we cancelled our trip. We were told that we would get our pre-payment (over $2700) back within 90 days. I totally understand that things are taking longer due to limited staff. However, we got to over 110 days, multiple emails and phone calls later, with no refund. They kept promising it was coming, but we got the runaround every time we contacted them. Finally, we threatened to call a lawyer and got our refund within 24 hours. I understand that they're struggling with being closed for months, but so were we without that substantial amount of money! It is unacceptable that they are holding people's money without actually providing the service (a hotel stay). We were looking forward to coming to visit after the pandemic, but they will never get our business after their mishandling of this ordeal.

    OVER 100 DAYS AND STILL NO REFUND!!

    My family and I had planned a trip to visit the Atlantis in August 2020. Due to the pandemic we had to cancel as we could not fly and the Atlantis us shut down. On June 6,2020 I emailed to cancel the reservation, I was told that it was cancelled and the refund would take 60-90 days. It is now 127 days since I have cancelled and still no refund!!! I have written over a dozen emails only to receive the same response, “ we are sorry but due to limited staff, refunds are taking longer than than usual”. IT IS UNETHICAL TO HOLD OVER $3,000 SOMEONE’S MONEY FOR 125 DAYS , ESPECIALLY WHEN I CONTINUE TO HAVE TO PAY THIS MONEY OFF OF MY CREDIT CARD EACH MONTH. IF THE ATLANTIS IS SO BACKED UP WITH REFUNDS, THEN MAYBE THEY SHOULDN’T HAVE SUCH A LIMITED STAFF. DO NOT BOOK THE ATLANTIS!!!

    Stay away!!! My convention was canceled due to Covid and I was promised a full refund on my pre-paid package by the end of July, then August and I still haven’t received a dime back! What a terrible way to treat a customer. The charge happened instantly. I’ve called, talked to supervisors and get the same line. I’ll expedite with accounting.

    Over 90 days and no refund from Atlantis!

    Booked a trip pre-covid - cancelled over 90 days ago and still no refund. I called to inquire about the refund and they said they will "escalate", this was 3 weeks ago and still no refund. Please do the right thing Marriott and refund our money, I see a lot of reviews on this and will keep posting until I get my refund.
