Hotel is super clean and the food and bar are always delicious. Hotel is super clean and maintained and the staff is super kind and helpful especially Deli and Dershea?? It was ultimately the best trip that I have gone on to Jamaica and I 100% will return.
Not what we expected

This is going to be a difficult review. We really wanted to like this place. It has a lot going for it, but the management really doesn't know what they're doing. For the high price, we expected a well-run, luxury level of service. The service we got was comparable to a bargain 3-star hotel instead of a resort that charges $2000 per night (which is what we paid). The Good: - restaurants are really great for an all inclusive resort. Each place had its own unique cuisine and flavor. We enjoyed all the food available. - One of our children has several serious allergies and the restaurants all took this very seriously. We were impressed with the level of training the food staff have regarding allergies and we felt very safe dining there. - the pools are lots of fun with the kids and the water park is perfect for the 5yr - 8yr ages. Any older kids would be bored quickly with what's available. - staff is very friendly and wants to ensure you are having a good time. - The resort photographers are fantastic. If you do go, ask for Nicoy. He is the best one there. Kids' camp is the best part of the hotel. They have an amazing program with lots of activities and fun every day of the week. The staff is lovely, and our kids enjoyed all of it. The Bad: - the rooms are run down. Everything is old and poor quality. While we were there our AC broke and toilet broke. The walls are thin and some rooms doent even have glass windows just shutters with a screen which does nothing to prevent noise from coming in. - very hard to reach the concierge. We had a concierge room so everything is supposed to go through this department but you cant get to them without calling the front desk first. Front desk answers the phone maybe 50% of the time and concierge answers maybe 60% of the time so between the two not answering their phones its really hard to get anything done that needs immediate attention. This is particularly frustrating when you need to get in touch with the Kids' camp where, you know, your children are located. - Concierge-level rooms do not get private transfers to the hotel from the airport. You’d think with a price tag of 14k for a 6-night visit, we would get a private car service to and from the airport. Nope. You get put in a packed tour bus for the 1.5-hour drive to the hotel. When we booked, they didn't care to include this detail. - the music at the pools is WAY too loud. We are at a family resort and they are acting like it Cancun spring breakers. They even had a beer-chugging contest. What?! The cleaning service was inconsistent. I arrived after check-in, and the room was not ready. Cleaning was supposed to be in the morning and turn down in the afternoon, but many times, cleaning did not happen until late afternoon. Once, they tried to give us turn-down service at 9:30 p.m.!!! They barged into the room where our children were sleeping and woke them up! Again, this is a family resort—who gets turn-down service at this time?????? The Worst: - neglected animals on the property. The property has several stray cats roaming around. They do not take care of these animals. They all have fleas and one was in such bad shape with mange it had bloody festering wounds on its body. This cat would walk between your legs at the restaurant table where we ate! These cats would also sleep on our room's patio cushions, where we sit every day. I have flea bites all over my legs! I spoke with management several times about this, and they only gave me lip service and lied to me about taking care of it. This ruined the trip for my little girl, who was very concerned about the cat's wellbeing. Cats are her favorite animal, and she was practically in tears as it was her first time ever seeing a suffering animal. This was not an occasional sighting. We saw this cat from dawn till dusk every single day. - we hired a private transfer back to the airport through the concierge service. My wife and daughter tend to get carsick, so we wanted to be able to pull over to the side of the road if someone was sick, which is hard to do in a tour bus. We request two booster chairs for our young children. It cost us an extra $190 to do this. We booked it several days in advance of the end of our trip. On the last day, they had no idea we had a private transfer. The concierge department scrambles to find us one. They didn't get us booster chairs for our children and put us in a run-down junker with broken seatbelts and bad AC. They did not tell us; we had to find out when we climbed into the vehicle. This was a horrible and dangerous situation to put our children in, and we had no choice, or we were going to miss our flight. After all this, I do not think we will return to this Beach resort. There is lots to love here, but ultimately, especially for the insane price tag, it wasn't worth it. Risking our children's lives is a total deal breaker for us. Sorry Beaches Negril. Try harder for the rest of your guests.

We recently returned from a week at Beaches Negril & we loved every minute! The rooms are nice, the property is beautiful, the beach is beautiful & the food is good. Only wish there were a couple more restaurant choices. We definitely want to return one day!!

My sister has been to Beaches several times with her husband and kids, but this time she wanted to just do a sisters' trip. People asked why we didn't go to an adults only resort. I kind of wondered that too, until I met all the amazing peole who make Beaches Negril so special. Beaches Negril is warm and cozy, not fancy or stuffy. It feels like home. And that is because the people who work there truly treat you like family. And no one does it better than the Entertainment Team! Delly, Nae Nae, Dershea, Shamoya and all the others...I tell you, these young people pour their hearts and souls into everything they do. During the day, you will find them hosting Beach Olympics, staff/guest volleyball, and endless other events. At night, they provide WORLD-CLASS music, dancing, gymnastics, fire breathing, you name it, they can do it, MAGIC. I am a music educator and musician and I know without a doubt this team could take over the world if they wanted to. Do not miss their shows! Even though I am old enough to be their mother, I felt a real connection with these "kids" and I just love them and their hearts for making people feel special, accepted and welcome in their home. Shout out to Kraig for educating my nerdy self about the steel drum. And to Dershea for the dance lesson. Thank you! Sending all my love to the lovely people at Beaches Negril. ?? Maria

We had a great time in Beaches Negril. Two of our family members are in wheelchairs and the accomodations were excellent. We stayed in a villa and it was very spacious. We made some suggestions for next time for people with mobility issues like grab bars in the shower and in two days they were installed. They were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. I would like to thank Richard, Neiko, Marco, Pauline and so many other people that made our stay wonderful.
