    Clean hotel, very central

    Very clean hotel and very central. We visited in Jan so was very cold and you could feel the cold coming in through the windows. When we arrived the staff didn't really acknowledge us and instead seemed to have a conversation about Netflix which I thought was quite rude. The "city tax" is extortionate for this hotel compared to others. The maid service also left our door open once they had cleaned our room which we had to notify them off. It was mediocre. I had previously stayed in the Hilton on Times Square which I must say is far more superior in terms of their hospitality regarding staff.

    Friendly staff, Next door to Grand Central Terminal, safe, and comfortable. Anticipating your every need. Hotel Security made me feel safe as a woman traveling for business. Staff quickly adjusted to (Covid-19 outbreak) with extra care in cleaning under every nook and cranny. Second stay, looking forward to my next visit.

    Average rather tired room. Cracked sink, scuffed wallpaper. No in room coffee facilities and downstairs market really expensive. Yogurt $9 whereas yogurt, banana and coffee in Pret only $8. Good location but just no real customer service. After paying $2000 for6 days they charge you per item for retaining your luggage after checking out. Only $3 per piece but really!?? Not exactly going the extra mile to make tourists feel valued. Made us feel ripped off to the very last minute. I know this is Manhattan but it did not represent value for money in any way. They sorted our blocked shower quickly - indeed more quickly than hot water coming out of the shower when you turn it on. This hotel is average at best

    Not the best experience.. expected more from the quality of hyatt.. hopefully they will take this into consideration and treat paying customers with better hospitality.. not the way I wanted to spend the evening due to celebrate a night out with my wife .. and they double charged me..

    The staff was wonderful but the hotel was dated and not worth the price charged. I also hated the extra $40 a night charge for a resort fee. The location next to Grand Central was ideal for getting around by subway.
