We stayed here over Christmas. Rooms were basic, but clean and comfy. They had designed it so there was a place for everything. We were able to hang our clothing, get our luggage out of the way, stow our toiletries and put extras in the many drawers. The location was great, and we were able to walk to the new Riviera Resort for dinner. We took the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios and loved the convenience of it having a station right at our resort. Pool was great, gift shop and food court were well supplied. The layout of the resort made it feel like we were in a small tropical luxury resort, with the doors opening out to a little shared courtyard between the buildings. It was a peaceful, magical stay.

Caribbean beach was super clean. Polite, knowledgeable and helpful employees. Very comfortable rooms with excellent mattress, soft sheets, fluffy towels and pillows. The main reason we chose this resort was the skyliner access. Skyliner was super fast access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Buses to other parks were very slow, hopefully Disney will look at increasing the skyliner to other parks.

Just returned from 6 nights at CBR (1/4/20-1/10/20). We had a preferred room which was very close to Old Port Royale. Walking to the sky-liner was easy and only took a few minutes to get too. Our experiences on the sky-liner were great, its very easy to use and super convenient. The room was spacious and clean, we found it very comfortable. We liked the rooms better than those at Animal Kingdom(which was our most recent stay). The cast members at the hotel were all great! I didn't catch her name but the cast member working the rear cash register at the gift shop January 8 around 7pm went above and beyond to help make our daughter's birthday special. We had dinner our first night at Sebastian's, the food there was fantastic and the wait staff was very attentive and friendly,Banana cabana was a fun spot. The pool was great with a fast and fun water slide. Our experiences with the buses was good overall. We did have a long wait to MK one day ,but only about 25 minutes. Our only negative with this hotel would probably be the restaurant at Old Port Royale. We had lunch and dinner there several times and it was hit or miss. Some items were very good and, others were forgettable (the pizza was awful). The cold ham sandwich in the grab n go, was better than the Cuban sandwich at OPR. We would definitely stay here again. My wife and I commented several times during the week how happy we were with our choice to stay at CBR. The Sky-liner helps make this resort a great choice.

We stayed at this resort for 2 nights partly because it’s so close to Hollywood Studios and it now has the skyliner. The skyliner was amazing, we used it twice and there was no delays! Love the overall theme of the hotel but I would agree that the rooms need updating. A little would go a long way and make this hotel even better! We had a problem with WiFi in our room and when we called up reception it was fixed very quickly. The staff everywhere in the parks and resort are so friendly and willing to help! This is a great way to enhance that Disney magic by staying in a Caribbean themed paradise!

First time at a Disney resort. It’s very spread out, which we liked as we don’t mind walking, only 2 floors, which made it feel homely. We had a pirate themed room which was fun, but slightly dated. Kids liked the main pool (has water slides), we didn’t use our section’s pool (very simple, no slides), pool was heated. About a 10 minute walk from lobby/main pool to our room (Trinidad). We had a bus stop outside our door, this was convenient, but as you can imagine very noisy. Lots of people standing outside our room late at night talking to each other, talking on phones, dealing with irritable kids and generally being painful. This was occasionally blocked out by the incredibly loud and clunky air conditioning unit in the room. Fortunately we were so tired from our days as Disney that I only wanted to scream at the inconsiderate noisy Americans outside our room once. Noise travels between rooms also, so also had to listen to next doors tv blaring one night. Lots of bus transport, and Skyliner/gondola transport. A note on the Skyliner, as someone who is afraid of heights. Absolutely hated it. Stops fairly frequently and leaves you swinging in the breeze at least 2-3 times each trip. Absolutely terrifying for someone who hates heights, and is only white knuckling it as long as it moves the whole time. Stopped using it on day 3, just couldn’t deal. Walked at one point from Rivera (a nice 10 min walk). For those who have no prob with heights, absolutely super convenient to Epcot and Hollywood studios. Would recommend this resort overall. Would maybe suggest a room not too close to a bus stop. Would not recommend Skyliner if you don’t do heights well due to the frequent stopping.
