Nice resort, bad WiFi
caith77 (New York City, New York) on Mar 07, 2024
Lovely resort but business travelers beware of WiFi problems. This is a great hotel overall and was a good last minute points booking value when I had to extend a work trip. However, the WiFi in the room is unreliable and caused problematic service interruptions all day, to the point that I had to tether my laptop to my phone to avoid dropping an important call for the third time. I realize WiFi issues can be unpredictable, but when I called to ask about a solution - using a private area or a business room for an hour, I was basically told to work in a dining area that turned out to be in use or sit outside. I really expect better from a hotel that advertises free high-speed internet. For an unplugged visit, this is a nice resort, but skip it if you need to do video calls for work while you’re here.
Great Experience

Enjoyed the quite location, yet still in the middle of many things to do. It was peaceful and relaxing. Would consider a family stay for sure. Be great for an all girls weekend or couple weekend. Nice people

Cameron is by far the best employee that I’ve come across in this entire company. She is an absolute go get her 100% guaranteed every single time. The last 48 hours cameras has done nothing but good things for me and my family. I would love to see Cameron again in the future. Good job, my boy.
Wonderful resort--a bit loud

I stayed at Andaz Scottsdale for 5 nights with my mom. We were initially unhappy because I was looking forward to a peaceful time at the pool and spa. The music at the pool area was very loud. Then our room turned out to be the absolute closest to the pool! The music was on from about 12-6pm. I used my earplugs a lot. The spa pool however was quiet and peaceful, the spa was amazing, and the food at the pool and Warp & Weft was excellent. I loved the design and cleanliness of the room. The grounds were perfectly tended to. Would I go again? Only if I could be promised a room far away from the pool and I would probably mostly go to the spa pool (you get free access if you have a spa treatment or pay $20 per day without a spa treatment.)
Beautiful property that could use a few small changes before I would come back

We stayed just one night and were pleasantly surprised by how attractive and comfortable the resort is. Beds very comfortable, small but luxurious bathroom, excellent clean well equipped fitness center, beautiful pool that allows for lap swimming. Avocado toast at breakfast was delicious. A few misses: many green lawns that are being watered in the morning leaving slippery paths. Please consider replacing the lawns with native plants that don’t require water. Also even though the bathroom products are in refillable containers and there are water stations throughout the property they gave us plastic water bottles on check in. No need for that. I was also surprised that there was trash around the hot tub this morning with birds pecking at it. Too bad some guests left that there but the area should have been cleaned overnight or early in the morning. And please add more vegan options at breakfast. The grain bowl isn’t available until 11 which seemed odd. Overall lovely place and with a few tweaks could be even better
