We spent a week at Casa Velas for my husband's birthday. This trip heavily exceeded expectations. The food was top tier, we ordered a wide variety over our stay and everything was spectacular. We felt no need to go out to eat elsewhere at all. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly, Daniel, Rodolfo, Emilio, and Oscar kept drinks full whether it be water or amazing cocktails, made great recommendations for meals, and made us feel like family. The pool was gorgeous, shallow and big, perfect for hanging out. Lot's of places to sit and relax or talk to other guests and plenty of lounge chairs and cabanas that you weren't up early saving a spot. Ulises and Ramon at the pool bar were perfectly attentive and helpful. The spa was lovely, we had pedis done as well as a massage and facial. The driver, Armando, was very friendly and accommodating taking us back and forth to the pool resort, Tau. We had such am amazing trip, we are already booking next year! Can't wait to go back.

Excellent small resort. The pool staff, Ulises, Juan, and Ramon are top of the line. They are attentive and always so above and beyond. The food and drinks are top notch. The restaurant staff is also amazing. Rodolpho has been superb. Would highly recommend for a low key adult vacation.

We’ve been to this resort twice and have been impressed both times. This is an amazing resort! Ulises, Juan and Ramon at the pool bar will take amazing care of you and bring you anything you need! Be sure to ask for them by name. We will be back again to experience the fantastic service.

Is hard to write a CASA VELAS review in a few words, I think I will begin with the important: Casa Velas is an all-inclusive, only-adults hotel, located a few minutes from the airport which is always convenient. To begin with, the hotel is simply beautiful, and the food and beverages are of the best quality in both ingredients and flavor. It has two restaurants: one in the hotel and the other at their beach club and in both places the menu is amazing. One thing that we love about Casa Velas is their beach club: Tau. The hotel van can take you to-from there. I love that they have this beautiful cabanas and a small but really cute pool. The pool bar is fantastic and attention is present and warm. I want to congratulate specially the people who took care of us at Emilianos Restaurant and at the beach club: Rodolfo, Eduviges, Daniel and a very special mention to Erick at the beach club. We will definitely come back.

5 star service but rooms need improvement. All the staff were amazing and friendly, responsive and ready to offer the best service. When we had a minor issue, Miguel, the hotel manager was very responsive and kind and address the problem right away. He checked on us a few days after to make sure things were good. The negative for us was the room. We had a Grand Class plus with the plunge pool outside and a jacuzzi bath inside. The room (514) is very humid. Over 90% at all time. So there is a dehumidifier in the room that helps but still very humid. And that thing is super loud and has to run 24/7. I also had to empty it 3 times a day. I’m no HVAC specialist but I think there is a problem. The outside air humidity is 70-75% and the room is at 90%? Not normal. I would also say that the plunge pool is kind of useless since it’s not heated, the water is very cold. Aside from this, very nice property, super clean, great food and the Tau beach club is amazing. About Tau, there is a path through the golf course to get there in 5 minutes walking. We found it on the last day. If you go by the street, it takes 15 minutes walk. We felt vary safe at all time. Puerto Vallarta was very cozy small town.
