    Fantastic hotel, amazing staff

    Last day and even though we're almost last to check out because of the Corona virus cancellation we have been treated like royalty. Food was excellent, drinks top class no cheap substitution. Sad that the cancellation of so many holidays that the hotel has to close for at least a month maybe longer. So sad.

    Every day I stayed here I fell even more in love with this place. It's an exceptional resort, a complete luxury experience nestled beautifully in nature, I can't get over how immersed we were, truly the best of both worlds. There are lovely creatures all throughout the resort you'll see, even crocodiles :D As you stay longer you feel more and more at home, it becomes a lot more personalized. The staff at Aguamarina we're nothing short of amazing, they knew we liked hot sauce and before you know it they would bring it to you without asking, they even went above and beyond and sourced my girlfriend some fresh coconuts because they had no coconut water. 3 times!!! All-in-all I have sa if you are looking for a peaceful, luxurious catered place stay and have a love for nature in your heart. Look no further! Huge Kudos to Hector and Omar of Aguamarina, you truly made us feel at home and made ou stay memorable. Thank you, we'll be sure to return!! - Jamaal Ahmad

    We stayed 10 nights in room 529 Laguna suite, great room location with a large shower. Room was cleaned everyday housekeeping and mini bar service was excellent. It is the staff that really make this place so special. Pedro Omar and all the breakfast and lunch team will make sure you have a great dining experience.Manuel and Josue at the pool will keep you hydrated and fed they are both super attentive. We didn't spend too much time on the beach due to the wind closing the ocean but the beach was clean and the water was amazing when we were able to go swimming. Dinners were always excellent with well portioned beautifully presented plates of deliciousness. Herminio the resident sommelier will make wine pairing suggestions and give 5 star service. Make sure you check out the spa with its amazing pools and amenities. A big thank you to all the staff who made our vacation a great experience, We will be back.

    Wonderful Stay at Blue Diamond

    Just got back from wonderful trip to Blue Diamond Luxury Resort. I booked the resort for a corporate event in which had ~45 of our guests attend. The service Blue Diamond offered was first class and all the reviews from our guests echoed that same feedback. Blue Diamond feels much more boutique than other all-inclusive resorts I have stayed at in the past. Because of this I found we were able to build personal relationships with the staff. Roberto Ramirez and the other staff members went above and beyond to ensure our stay felt luxurious for both myself and our guests. They did an amazing job catering and organizing the different venues and activities that we required. We found the a-la-carte meals were much more enjoyable then buffet style menus. The food tasted better, was fresher, and offered a nice presentation every time you ate. The rooms were outstanding and offered a better living experience for both me and our guests. The quality of bottled alcohol in the room was also a very nice touch. The availability of bicycles and free shuttles were also a great offering. I look forward to staying at this resort again in the future.

    Outrageous treatment of hotel guests

    It’s such a shame that I feel so strongly writing this review. This hotel has amazing rooms, service and food ( high salt levels for my personal taste though). The staff are great, lovely and friendly especially Josue and Selina (sorry I can’t remember the names of them all). The facilities are listed as 3 restaurants, 2 bars and 2 pools however one of the bars is no more than a roof top with a serving hatch and the other is outside in the pool area. The Ceviche restaurant is also open to the elements meaning that if the weather is bad (it’s been extremely windy) there is nowhere to sit and have a drink or relax. The 2 pools are in the same area and quite small. Today is the last full day of our holiday and a wedding is taking place at the pool/bar area this evening. Since 1pm today all guests have been ‘bullied’ from their sun loungers until only the stubborn ones remained (myself included). As soon as anyone left their bed, it was stripped down and moved away. The event arrangers we’re standing on ladders above my head and moving everything around us making us feel very uncomfortable as if we had no right to be there. After asking to speak to the manager ( who did not show up) we were asked if there was anything they could do to rectify the matter. The problem was, I only wanted to spend the last day of my holiday relaxing by the pool and I wasn’t able to! The wedding also meant that we would be unable to go to the only decent bar in the evening so we have opted to go out for dinner this evening instead ( taxi courtesy of the hotel). This hotel does not have enough facilities to rent out whole areas for private functions. Today’s actions were completely unacceptable and not worthy of a 5 star hotel.
