Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort

I always put a lot of thought into choosing the hotel for our holidays and I am so glad we chose this one. I had seen the excellent reviews so was hopeful it would meet our expectations and yet it exceeded them in every way. We arrived to a warm welcome from Karen who was our ambassador for our stay, during the whole trip she was simply an outstanding host, nothing was too much trouble and I always felt that she genuinely cared that we were happy. Our room was upgraded on arrival to a Premium Two Bedroom Ocean View Villa which was absolutely beautiful and such a nice surprise. We appreciated it so much as we arrived just before the pandemic hit so it was the perfect place to rest before all the madness. It was actually one of the best villas we have ever stayed in, it really did make our holiday having such a beautiful villa. For 3 adults there was plenty of room and it was spotlessly clean. Our huge terrace had both a dining table and a comfy sofa. Our view was simply breathtaking, overlooking the resort and the ocean we were situated on the hillside. They have shuttles to drive you around resort but we enjoyed walking to and from our villa each day and night. It is hilly but not as difficult to walk around as I thought. The beach was incredible just what you imagine of the Carribean. We never struggled to find beds and the staff on the beach were fantastic also, including Yannick who was always so helpful and made us feel so welcome. We were staying on a bed and breakfast basis which was perfect for us. I have to say the breakfast was brilliant. A good variety of food each day and what made it all the more perfect were the staff who were always so friendly to us. We enjoyed dining al fresco by the ocean and also indoors for breakfast, it was fantastic to have the choice. A special mention to Michelle and Samantha at breakfast who always went above and beyond to make us feel special each day, every morning all the staff greeted us with warm smiles and this made such a difference to our stay. We ate in all the restaurants in our evenings in the resort and found them all to be a lovely dining experience. Our favourites were the laidback casual Jammers with live music where we looked after by Lee who was our favourite waiter. And our other favourite was the Italian Papa Dons which has a beautiful setting on the hillside. Here we were looked after by the manageress June who is a credit to the resort as she looked after us like we were old friends and the service she offered was exceptional whilst warm and friendly. I genuinely cannot fault anything about this incredible resort. The staff are some of the nicest people we have ever encountered and they made our holiday memorable for all the right reasons. We stayed during the start of covid and they handled the situation amazingly. We were so grateful that they still provided a happy and friendly service despite everything that was unfolding. Even though like many of us they were facing uncertainty they never let this show, everyone greeted us with a smile and therefore it didn't impact our holiday at all. Thank you so much to all the staff at Windjammer for making our holiday so special. We will never forget this memorable hotel and its staff. I will continue to recommend this resort to family and friends as we honestly did not want to leave this beautiful place, it really is that amazing.

Excellent laid back resort. It was quiet due to Covid but this is popular with families due to activities, including motorised waterspouts. Perfect for families who want an active water based holiday. Friendly staff. Go with all inclusive while Covid restrictions require you to stay on property, otherwise you will spend a fortune in their on-site supermarket. Note to management: As you sell non alcoholic beer in your supermarket, I suggest you offer it in your bars and restaurants.

I strongly recommend the Windjammer Resort in St Lucia. The views are amazing and the personal pools in almost every villa are great for people who like to get away from the crowds and have quiet time. A special thank you to Darrell who was an amazing ambassador during our stay. Look for him if you need any assistance. He is a problem solver. :-)

Second time in St Lucia but first time at the windjammer, it won't be the last. I travelled with my mom and spent 7 amazing nights in paradise. We had room 323AB, a hibiscus suite and it was truly spacious with large bathrooms, closets and gorgeous ocean views, even from bed. The beds were king sized plush and so comfy. We had a large table on our balcony for dinning and a lovely hot tub that we used daily. Our suite had a washer and dryer as an added bonus. Lloyd, thank you for making my birthday special. All of the shuttle drivers were amazing, shout out to Terry he became like family. All of the food options were delicious, jerk spring rolls, steak, shrimp, tuna, snapper, mahi. The best drink ever is the mango splash, do yourself a favor and try it! The beach was beautiful, everything was spread out so you have space and privacy to lounge. The sea urchins are monsters so please only swim in the section that's protected. We enjoyed the sunset cruise which offered food, drinks and a dance contest/party. Essie is the hostesses with the mostest, love her!!! Watersports, just do it, I thoroughly enjoyed riding on the hobie kat with my friend ?? We met so many wonderful people and have memories of a lifetime. Thank you windjammer and one final shout out to the beautiful little bird that visited me every morning...until next time!

The resort is in a lovely location and everything is well kept. The villas are charming and I imagine most have a wonderful view over the beach and the ever changing beautiful blue sea as we did. We loved that view. Eating on the beach on the first night was something to relish and remember. Most of all, though, the resort staff , from director Franz to Ricky to Julia and all the others in the team, were fantastic and couldn’t be more welcoming, friendly and helpful. A great holiday - we’ll be back. Thanks windjammer team!
