Don't bite ...

The only positive was the room views. Had to beg for toilet paper. Room never got any attention. The poolside/beachside bar is an embarrassment. The pools were not heated and ice cold...impossible for the grandkids to swim in. The only positive I have is that their parking system is good. Nice to have a stall waiting for me when I got back because I had to escape often.
Good for the Money

Stayed here with family for a week in March 2024. The hotel is on the north end of town and possibly the last one of the big hotels before John's Pass Inlet. About a half-mile walk to both John's Pass and the center of town (opposite directions). They have a very small bar at the rear of the hotel/parking garage which was always filled but we never indulged. The large pool was always filled with guests, but we stayed on the beach which is easy walking. There is also a small luncheonette type food service up front, but unfortunately we did not eat there either but always saw a good number of guests inside. The room had issues with clogged pipes but a stop down to the front desk they had it fixed while we were gone for the day. I think all the rooms are ocean view, and we could see the pool too. Most of the parking is underneath the hotel itself on the ground floor parking deck. We had a small RV which they accommodated us by allowing us to park it in the uncovered parking area to the north side. There's an ice cream/hot dog establishment right next door and a Circle K convenience store right across the street. We walked to most restaurants in town including Waffle House, Dunkin Donuts and Crabby's. The pillows were terrible, but other than that I would recommended for the price. The beach walk ends one block to the south but we walked it almost every day, and we walked the beach to John's Pass. Nice area.

Would go back 100% !! great resort, staff, amenities ….perfect vacation for our family! Gorgeous sunset views and the beach was like being in the Caribbean!! The staff at the cafe and the ladies at the bar are top notch! Can’t wait to visit again soon!!
Worse than a trailer park!

This place is run down and not maintained. The bathroom had lots of visible mould and clearly no one had done anything about it in months. Under the soap dish it was thick and growing. Cupboards were damaged, dirt was visible all over the unit. The pool area was too small and the bathrooms were a long, long way away and up a flight of stairs…so where were those kids peeing???? The bar area was just a loud drunken trailer park scene. Overall you’d probably meet a better class of people in a trailer park. And how does it get this bad? There’s no staff to be seen anywhere!
Great Stay!

We have no complaints about our stay. We had a gulf front 2 bedroom 2 bath room. Room was spacious, clean, maintained, updated kitchen/appliances, washer/dryer, great views and balcony access from the main bedroom and livingroom. Check in and out was smooth. Beds were comfortable. Small toiletries provided along with a pack of laundry detergent, dish soap and a sponge. They also provided us with a few bottles of water and pool towels. Staff were very friendly and outgoing. The cafe was open for breakfast and lunch, reasonable prices and it was good. The tiki bar staff was great! Pool areas clean and maintained. Parking was easy. There is a small resort fee for use of amenities.
