We were extremely happy with our stay at the Alexandra for five nights in Feb. 2020 with two children ages 7 & 11. Our one bedroom suite with its spacious balcony was a very comfortable place to come and go from. We had a view of the pool and the ocean. The food was both amazing and convenient. We had an active schedule and the buffet style dining at breakfast, and often at lunch (our choice), suited us very well. We never waited for a table at any meal. All four of us, with very different preferences and one gluten free eater, were able to find great options at every meal. A huge part of any stay is the warmth and sincerity of staff members. We were very happy with all staff we came in contact with. Jessica, in particular, welcomed us so warmly that our children, whom are generally shy around strangers, were inspired to share treasures and stories of their adventures with her. It is the highest complement to create so comfortable a space for children that they are comfortable and inspired to share. There were daytime activities and evening entertainment which were fun and engaging. Barbie and Swift were motivating and talented. Janaya, "Ivan" and everyone else were wonderful. Even more standout staff members include: O'Brian, Chiari, Sheldon, Marsha, and Horacio. Stephanie at the Blue Haven was one of the best servers we have ever had. Thank you to everyone; you work really hard and it shows!!

Quit searching for your perfect hotel...just book it. My family just got back from Turks & Caicos on February 23, 2020. We were traveling with eight adults (40 to 70) and one 7 year old and it is fair to say everyone had an excellent time and got what they were looking for out of the Alexandra Resort. Our one bedroom suite was large and very clean. The housekeeping kept the towels and drinks stocked daily. Best part of the room was the large balcony the overlooked the garden, pool and beach. Our room was in building 3 on the 3rd floor. Excellent view! The breakfast buffet was delicious each morning and my daughter loved the hamburger and pizza hut for lunch. The staff took great care of us at the bar (Chidley) and on the beach (Wesley Snipes). I have never seen such beautiful water and sand! Highly recommend you take a private boat tour to see the island, shipwreck, shell island and iguana island. We used Grace Bay Adventures and Captain Jack and Dion were excellent guides! This is my new go-to place and I cannot wait to return!

You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at the Alexandra Resort on Turks & Caicos. The hotel is located on the magnificent Grace Bay beach and the resort itself is beautiful, well run, clean, all-inclusive, spacious but not too big. It is close enough to town that you can bicycle or even walk there. You are greeted by the very friendly reception staff and Philippa takes care of anything you might need. Another shout out goes to Marcson the wonderful bartender who always greets you with a smile and your drink of choice. The biggest shout out goes to Samuel, the beach/pool attendant. He takes care of anything you need at the beach or pool. He took care of us during our entire vacation. Thank you Samuel ?? We can’t wait to come back next year!

Cozy resort in a dream spot

Alexandra Resort is cozy (4 buildings of approximately 50 rooms each surround a nicely designed pool and a beautiful tropical garden) and located on the best stretch of Grace Beach (frequently ranked among the best beaches in the World). The rooms are spacious and well appointed if a bit dated. The food is amazing -- varied and deliciously prepared buffets in the mornings and at lunch time with exquisite restaurant experience every evening. The Black Rock dining experience offers diners the opportunity to simmer their own grill (fish, chicken, pork or beef) on a hot stone at the table. The Fish Deck restaurant is a must -- exquisite 5 star cuisine at all-inclusive value served on a deck overlooking the sunset at Grace Bay beach. Riley and Theresa made each of our dines at the Fish Deck memorable and better than the prior. Alexandra Resort has a skilled animation team which provided entertainment, games, childcare services and night entertainment. Slick was kind and loving with all children at the day center -- we saw Slick carrying little ones on his back and teaching them to swim in the pool. Yoshi was the dynamic force behind all beach soccer and beach volleyball games. Yet it was Rhyeme who would stop by and cheer everyone, get them engaged in a game, entice them to try a new skill or a new musical instrument or dance style. Rhyeme's energy and smile radiated throughout our vacation. Alexandra Resort offers free Hobby catamarans, two-seater kayaks and stand up paddle boards (SUP). Thanks to Jamal's expert tips and advice our 8 years old learned to paddle a SUP in just three days. We also took advantage of the free shuttle to the Blue Heaven sister-resort and enjoyed a nice lunch overlooking the channel and the mangroves in the National Park (small island across the Blue Heaven resort).

    An Amazing Last Minute Trip

The resort is very pretty and clean. We had a few challenges with our room but within a day, everything was fixed. They even sent us a bottle of wine. Our room was huge and overlooked the Bay. We left our bedroom door open a little each night so that we could hear the water. Oh, the water....I have never seen such turquoise water with white sand. The sunsets were gorgeous. The food was very good and I would highly recommend you go to an all inclusive as the food is very expensive. There were plenty of choices-you won't go hungry. You can go to 3 resorts one you can walk to - the Beach House. It is a quaint resort and Adult Only so if quiet is what you are after, stay there. Parker and Randall were a lot of fun out by the beach bar...please be sure to go there and meet them - tell them Arnie and Beth say hi! So much fun! We like more activity and music and the Alexandra had the right mix. They had bands at night and yes, you will hear them till 11pm or later if it's a weekend. Pool was a little too cool for me but I went in anyway. There were some children at the resort but not many. If you miss the free shuttle to the Beach House, a taxi will cost between $8-12. If you want non-stop entertainment to keep you busy, this may not be the resort for you. If you want to relax, take long walks on the beach, have evening entertainment and some events during the day, then this is the place for you. We can't wait to return....this is my new "go to" spot.
