What to know before you book.
Choose a fare that includes the benefits most important to you. Travel plans can change, for your peace of mind, look for the fare with ‘Flex’ in the name to ensure that the ability to change or cancel is included for no additional fee, just the difference in fare.
Fares with flexibility
EconoFlex, PremiumFlex and BusinessFlex: Change your flight for no fee. Any difference in fare will apply.
Econo, Premium and Business: Change your flight for an additional fee. Any difference in fare will apply.
If you're looking for the lowest price, our Basic fare is the most cost effective for those who know they will not require any changes. It is important to note that no changes are permitted when booking this fare.
WestJet Rewards members can sign in to compare available Member Exclusive savings with Economy, Premium and Business fares. Find savings on more seats and on more flights when you book your next flight and apply full payment of the base fare in WestJet dollars.
Basic
If you know you’re not going to make itinerary changes, and just want to get from A to B, then this is the fare for you.2,7,8
With a Basic fare, you’ll get our best possible price and our Economy inflight experience, however you will
NOT be eligible for:
- WestJet Rewards earn or qualifying spend
- Platinum or Gold benefits: same-day flight changes, complimentary upgrades or seat changes
- Seat changes or seat selection, at the time of booking or at check-in, without an additional fee7
- Changes, cancellations or refunds
