I am currently staying in this hotel and I feel very disappointed with the service here. Let me start off by saying the rooms are absolutely amazing!!! We have an amazing view and the room is decorated fabulously. Unfortunately what is letting this hotel down is its service EVERYWHERE. We have to call reception every day to restock the minibar, and then it takes 45 mins to get here. All the bars are so so slow, I cant believe it.. i genuinely feel like I am bothering the bartender when I ask for a drink.also they definitely do not over pour.. I end up ordering an extra shot with my mojito as I cant taste the rum. The food is just fine... The Italian is great and so Is the sushi place.. but the test is just very average food. They will not stock the mini bar... we had so many issues. They said we need to call every day... and even when we did they still didnt stock it l!! 3 calls later and were still waiting for wine!!! This is such a shame as it is a beautiful resort.. we are already planning out next trip to Mexico but unfortunately it will not be here. I understand this is a new place but they really need to put more emphasis on their customer service.

This hotel is amazing in every shape way and form. The workers are always friendly, smiling and willing answer any questions. The rooms them selves are spectacular and well thought out. The beds are super comfortable. We have the Swim-Up room facing the golf course. The water is COLD and does not receive any sun during the day.....but did feel good after a long day in the sun. Restaurants were all very good and never an issue getting into to eat. Would recommend this hotel and would visit again.

This hotel has a lot going for it: - the pool: very big, clean, with extremely comfortable and plentiful loungers which are easy to move around, lots of sun shades and limitless, freshly laundered, good quality towels - food and drink: lots of choice, infinite supply, good food, beer, wine and cocktails included in your all inclusive deal. If you want to order from their wine list you can spend from a bit to a lot in each restaurant, and if you go to Maria Dolores, neither food or drink is included in the package. But otherwise, everything is. From the especially delicious tuna tostadas at El Suspiro to the flame grilled rib eye steaks at Los Abrazos, and the most delicious spring rolls at Takeshi, it's very impressive - the weather: I appreciate this is outside the control of the hotel, but its been really warm, with a lovely breeze, and barely any mosquitoes. Perfect! - the staff: almost all have been very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic despite what I perceive to be long days of hard work keeping all the guests happy - the hotel: very clean, well landscaped with lots of plants, great gym. This is a very well equipped hotel. Also really liked the econcierge facility for quick online chat enquiries, made extra easy by the Atelier app and excellent, reliable, strong WiFi literally everywhere at this hotel. A couple of minor niggles for me: - I was expecting at least some of the food to be spicy and it really wasn't. I get the need to cater for all palates so suggest doing what they do at the Cilento restaurant and leaving a pot of chilli flakes (or chilli oil), salt and pepper on each table - signage isn't great. When you've been here a few days it starts to make sense but when we arrived we weren't shown to our room but instead taken to a lift and told which floor to go to. We got lost, returned to reception and despite asking, couldn't get someone to show us. - the other guests: not helped by some very large groups attending the conference venue at the hotel and probably some all day drinking, some of the guests are seemingly unaware that this isn't exclusively their hotel. Very noisy and splashy and frankly self unaware. There are very few hotel rules (smoking areas, dress code in places, and not drinking in the pool) none of which were enforced by the staff - constant loud music by the pool. Mostly to my taste so generally not an issue for me, but when I could hear one set of tunes from the bar and another from the pool activity (eg aqua zumba) at the same time, it's less pleasant. In summary, a great value and high quality holiday probably best suited to sociable, lively guests who like to be entertained and get involved. Having said that, my husband and I are definitely not that kind of guest and we still had a great time and may well come back

    Beatifull resort, Ok food.

We have been to Mexico AI's at least twelve different times. We where recommended this resort by our travel agent who had just recently returned. When we booked, we had to book two double beds, but as part of the booking requested a king bed instead, also sent an email prior to arrival informing them that we where traveling for Angie's birthday and requesting a king room. They responded they would try. At check in we where informed that we where still in a double, asked again if we could have a king they said they where booked and maybe the would call Wednesday if one became available. Never did receive the call and the resort according to the staff was only at 40 to 50% capacity. The Hotel itself is beautiful, everything is very clean and well presented. George ( I think) took us to the room and was very energetic and excited to help us explain the room and the features we instantly felt welcome. As far as the resort goes it was one of the nicest we have been to. The pool is huge with a swim up bar on both ends. The beach is nice with many Bali beds and even little sun tents to keep the sun off. The pool and the beach wait staff did go out of their way to make sure a drink was always in hand, I think I only had to walk to the bar twice over the week. So why 4 stars? At this price point there was some things that where a little disappointing. First the steak house, we tried to go our first night and we where told it was closed for a group dinner, no biggy but when we tried again the next night it was closed again for another group dinner. After being told by the concierge on Wednesday that the steak house is definitely open, we returned at 7 to find out again it was closed until nine that evening for a group dinner. So in the first four night we tried to get into their signature restaurant 3 times and where turned away every time. We did eat at the Asian which was very good, but the Italian was very bland. The quail at the Italian was very good but the rest of the meal, while being very pretty, just was not up to the standards we have found at other AI's at this price point. Heck the "room service" pizza was better than what we had at the Italian. And lastly the resort was informed of the better half's birthday, yet did nothing to acknowledge it. Every resort we have been at even the less expensive ones, have done something, maybe just flowers petals on the bed, to acknowledge our birthdays or anniversary's. I do want to send a special shout out to our bartenders, Mario, Hugo, Angel and John the Butcher. They all went over and above keeping us entertained with stories and great drinks. If you get bored take a tour of all the bars and order the top shelf margarita, they all make it slightly different but all equally delicious. In closing we did very much enjoy our stay, but with the prices they are charging we just felt we have had better food and better service from the hotel (not the wait staff they where all great) at other resorts.

We (married couple of the age 30+ without kids) stayed for 12 nights in December and had the most amazing and wonderful vacation ever! The whole resort is fabulous and so beautiful designed. The rooms are large, clean and very modern. The food at every single restaurant was nothing but delicious, the breakfast buffet leaves no wish unfulfilled, the made to order smoothies and the coffee shop are very nice addition to the stay. We had one complaint about our room, because it was directly above the gym and it was very loud in the morning when people dropped the weights in the gym on the floor. We got another room and this solved our problem, but if you get a room above the gym you should try to switch it right away and maybe for the future it would be better if they put some mats on the floor to reduce the noise. {I dokato} But you can have a beautiful resort and great food somewhere else, what makes Atelier so special it is the staff. One of the guests wrote in their review “This place is huge but walking the distances from place to place is the hardest work you will have to do” and this is absolutely true. Every member of the staff works so hard in order to make your stay the most amazing and unforgettable experience ever. Our thanks go especially to Francisco at breakfast, Alfredo at the bar (the best gin tonic drink ever!), Abel at dinner at El Trompo and Mercado 19, Luis at the pool/beach area. Last but definitely not least thanks to the best beach concierges Israel, Mauricio and Adrian, who made every day of our stay incredible fun and relaxed. They really know how to do their job and beyond. The only thing we did not really enjoy was the almost 2 hours long Inspira sales presentation and the in our opinion pushy way it had, which almost forces guests to join the Inspira vacation club. There are maybe guests who are in the mood for something like that, but we think it would be only fair to clearly describe what is it about to all guests.
