They staff are absolutely amazing. The activities staff did a great job at planning and creating great atmospheres and games for everyone. They all participated and made the experience 10 times better. Especially Julio. Anytime you go to a restaurant or snack area all of the staff are very nice and friendly. I particularly like Adrian and Jorge. They were both very helpful and funny. All around a great experience.

We had a great time at the Melia Cozumel. The beds were comfortable, the drinks and food plentiful and the staff was excellent. We especially enjoyed the entertainment staff (JULIO, April, Ernesto, Oswald and David) and appreciated how they kept our teenagers busy. The servers at the Fish House and the Mole Snack Bar (Adrian, Jorge and Claudia) were extremely attentive and accomodating. Santiago provides GREAT service in the Lobby Bar and our personal concierge, Hector, couldn't have been sweeter or more helpful to us. He reserved Bali beds daily and ensured that we got reservations for all 13 of us to sit together. I have been to plenty of resorts that are not willing to help big groups stay together. My only complaint is the "elevator" music at the Adult Pool. There definitely needs to be something more modern or festive. Thanks for a great week. We hope to be back.

I had a group of servers and chefs that served me during my trip and they were very nice. I was able to build a bond with them. If you get Jorge Adrian and Claudia you are very lucky. My favorite entertainer was Julio and my friends and I played games with him everyday. We built a bond with him too. They all spoke very good English.

Good experience overall at Melia Cozumel. Excellent service at the Level with concierge Alfonso, at the Level beach, bars, restaurants, front desk and butler. Very clean well maintained older resort on beautiful white sand beach . Seaweed due to current almost everyday but nice snorkeling right next door at Cozumeleno . The food was just ok , limited choice at the buffet, breakfast was the best with more options. 10 min drive from the airport and San Miguel , 10$ taxi drive from the hotel. I would say this resort is mostly good but overpriced for the quality. I personally wouldn’t return but had a relaxing week at Melia Cozumel without high expectations.

Melia Cozumel is a great property to stay. Family friendly if traveling with infants/toddlers. Rooms are huge & spacious. The staff is very helpful. We being vegetarians, they made us feel comfortable by making Veggie Pizza & Veggie Enchiladas. Kudos to Exec Chef Francisco & Captains: Francisco & Luis who helped us alot.
