This place is TERRIBLE! All inclusive is a LIE! No food after 9 PM, you can’t take food back to your room. Taxis don’t come here cause as I was told by the workers, “Taxis don’t trust coming here this late:” There is no car service, they don’t even give you a recommendation for taxis. This resort is TRASH! High suggest don’t waste your money here. The bathrooms don’t have non slip anything. I fell and busted my head on the tile in the shower. I still have two days here and I don’t want to stay here anymore. They nickel and dime you here! DONT COME HERE!!!!!

If you aren't expecting a 5* resort, and want just the basics -- this place is great! We loved the pool & beach -- and, would definitely come back to enjoy it again. Food -- not so good! You aren't going to starve, but you aren't going to get great food either!! As a UVC member, we adults were able to go next door to the Market Cafe, which had a great breakfast buffet, and made to order omelets, which was well received. We went to Market Cafe most dinners, as well, but the selection wasn't so good! El Patio needs more or better things on the menu -- 9 of us in our group, and no one was too impressed! Sunnyside -- no, thanks! Thankfully, every lunch/afternoon, they cooked hamburgers and had nachos by the beach bar, and they were okay....sure do miss the Food Truck Burger Bus, though!! They also cooked Taco al Pastor by the pool every day, and they were good!! The interior of the resort could use a good spiffing up -- trash under the stairs, palm fronds need picked up, etc. Would I go back -- yes -- I love the pool & the beach!! Oh, and the snorkeling -- you can snorkel right off the beach -- no cost!! It was awesome -- watch some videos on Google about snorkeling with bread in water bottles!! Tere in the spa is wonderful -- I had a 50 minute relaxation massage, and it was probably one of the best that I have ever had!

Just gone down hill! Service is horrible, food made us gag each night, had to pay $30 for a cab ride both ways into town just to get something to eat because the food at Sunscape was so bad! False advertisement on their website. Doors have no weather stripping. Water (or possibly sewage) dripping from the upper room into our bathroom. The restaurants at the resort that were advertised were never even open. Rooms are filthy. Alcohol for the drinks were either watered down or just colored water. The only thing good about the place, is the beach access and view. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! Can't wait to go home!

We spent 2 weeks at the resort. We enjoyed our stay, the weather was great, good snorkeling off the beach, nice beach and staff were very pleasant. This was our third time at this resort, the last two were after they shrunk the resort and created Dreams resort nextdoor. Resort is now run down and needs repairs, we will not be back. Too many issues not being dealt with. Now there is only 2 restaurants with so so food, often got mixed up orders long waits and cold food.. They have an italian option 5 nights a week, they setup tables by the pool. We showed up at 7:30 pm, wouldnt let us in despite empty tables, told us to come back at 8 pm. If they let us in we wouldn t be done by next seating at 8 pm. We walked by around 8:15 and only 2 tables had people. Go figure?? We had access to buffet at Secrets which saved us a few nights and their breakfast was good too. Staff there were verynice and efficient, Eugena, Rosana, Zenna. Two of them were getting laid off while we were there. Why were they letting go their best staff? It was a bit chaotic after they were gone dealing with new staff longer wIt times. They only fill the minibar when you get there for the week so when we started our second week, we asked for a refill. They said no. There was no hot water at least 6 times during our stay. They said let the water run for a while, didn t work most of the time. The exterior stairs to get to our third floor unit were littered with dirty plates and glasses. Took them a week to pick them up after asking a few times. They never cleaned /swept the stairs the whole time we were there. Consistent smell of septic throughout the resort. Shortage of beach chairs for the amount of guests. This is not a fancy resort, you get what you pay for but this place definitely took a nose dive from the previous times we were there. We didn t let it ruin our holiday but will not go back. Too bad because it is a nice little resort and well situated as everything is close to the beach.

Too many tramps (unevenness) while walking. Kaiak personal asking for tip before using the amenities which it’s free Today. The worst; the hostess (Aurora) denied an empty table for 8. She told us we cannot reserve a table for ten then when and seat on an empty table of 8 she told me it was reserved. It is incoherent.
