Let me start by saying we just visited this hotel and we had a great vacation. We’re sure others that choose this hotel will have a great time as well. We think the housekeepers could be better about reporting general maintenance issues. We think they could use a bit more staff for housekeeping and waitstaff at the pools. The bars and pools are great with easy access but no food and beverage service on the beach. We spent a lot of time walking for drinks, food, etc. If you’re someone that likes to walk the beach in the morning this hotel’s beachfront is a bit isolated from accessing surrounding beaches. Overall location is good.

Jimmy Buffett would not want his name on this hotel ! It should be a one star if anything . totally outdated pool area is gross the rooms smell moldy there was mold on the shower stains on the bedspread we walked in and then walked out and went to another hotel . They charged me one night in penalty which is half of what our whole entire vacation, what a Ripoff save your money and go to the Marriott you will be so much more happier do not to go to this hotel. Even the lady at the front desk understood why we checked out evidently other people say the same thing

Casual and best bang off season!

We had a great time at Margaritaville in Cayman. I choose this resort because the amenities were included (paddleboarding, kayaks, snorkeling equipment, etc.) The pool has free daybeds/cabanas which were a nice touch as other hotels charge up to $500 per day. There are several pools. One has a swim up bar, kiddie pool, hot tub, etc. The rooms were nice, clean, and had an island vibe. We had a room that had 2 queens, and a pull out couch. Great for a family of 5. It had a Keurig machine stocked with teas, coffee, decaf. Knowing this I brought a few hot cocoa cups for my kids. There was a mini fridge and free bottled water left each day. These are huge perks compared to other resorts. There is an amazing upscale grocery market about 4 blocks called Kirk Market comparable to Whole Foods. We were able to stock snacks and drinks. The hotel is on the bus route which is super safe and $2 a person. We were able to head a few miles down to the downtown Georgetown area to do lots of fun resort shopping and great restaurants, and the opposite way has an upscale outdoor mall with theater, and places to walk to eat nearby. The restaurants we ate at Margaritaville were good. The 5 O'clock Somewhere Grill had terrific food as Spread did. We did not eat at the upscale restaurant during our stay. All in all for a casual atmosphere and great prices, we did (hotel+air) with JetBlue. We would do it again for the clean pools and amenities. The money saved we were able to do a few pricey excursions (stingray swim/ beach bbq/ catamaran).
