We were not interested in staying in the big fancy resorts (ridiculously expensive and not our vibe), but wanted to treat ourselves to a nice place for a couple of chill nights at the end of our Oahu-Maui trip and we are super happy we chose Maui Coast Hotel - it was exactly what we needed! The rooms and beds were comfortable, the staff is amazing, their shuttle service was super courteous, prompt and so very useful, the bikes were a nice plus, the beach across was nice (beautiful sunsets and I got to swim with yet another sea turtle there!), it was very conveniently located, well taken care of (they are in the process of expanding, so its gonna get even better!), the bar/restaurant by the pool was great (nice happy hour specials too! and we loved having the musical entertainment), and their Cafe serves delicious breakfast daily for a good price (rare to find!). So yes, loved it and would recommend it!

Fabulous hotel in a great position. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Walking distance to the beach with beautiful sunsets. Many restaurants and shops in walking distance but also a free shuttle service if you want to go further afield. Live music at the pool area in the evenings. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom and coffee/water replenished each day. Would love to go back!

A beautiful gem of a hotel. The hotel and the grounds are well taken care of. The staff is great. The pool & bar are great. It's close to shops, restaurants and the beach. We loved it. We will be going back.

Very good small to mid-size hotel - one of the few actual hotels (rather than condos) in the area. (Note that there is a "resort" fee, but I wouldn't classify this hotel as a resort.) The room that we reserved was not available, so we were upgraded to a very nice one bedroom unit. The room was spotless and housekeeping services were excellent throughout our stay. My only issue was something the hotel really couldn't do anything about: location. The Kihei area is very crowded and congested and traffic jams are common. We have stayed at hotels on various parts of the island, but won't be returning to this area.

I travel to Maui for work, and it is always important to have a great place to stay so I can do my best at my job. The rooms are very clean. The restaurants are great, breakfast service is fast which is great since I need to head out to work. Love the Pool Bar live music every night and staff is great
