We had a destination wedding with 100 guests. We spent 5 days with family and friends, it was a dream vacation and beautiful wedding! Our coordinator did everything we asked for. Our guests had the best time. Our only complaint was that it was difficult to get early dinner reservations.

    Not great, not bad

PBP was the sixth different (and most expensive) adults-only all-inclusive we've visited and the first in Cabo. While the resort itself is spectacular and the grounds are beautiful, we were underwhelmed overall. It was almost like two stays in one. From Monday-Friday it was underwhelming and then the weekend hit and it was like a new, improved place. First, the good: +It's a beautiful resort in a great location. As others have mentioned, you can't swim in the ocean but walks on the beach are very nice. You feel like you have the beach to yourself. Pool and bar areas are nice. The resort has a very relaxed feel and we met some great people. +Rooms are nice but on the small side compared to our other stays. The bathrooms are particularly cramped. In-room amenities are OK - a couple of beers but no liquor. We paid for an ocean view but couldn't see the ocean from inside the room. We could see from the balcony but not a clear view. Gym is well-appointed. +Food was fantastic. From the breakfast buffet to dinner, the meals were consistently great. We only had dinner in Peninsula and Siempre. DON'T MISS SUNDAY BRUNCH!!! +Staff shoutout: Alan at the "second pool," closest to the beach. That guy was phenomenal. Find Alan. Unfortunately, everything beyond that was average. -The service wasn't great. Most restaurant staff was good but bartenders and pool area staff were pretty unattentive/slow. Not terrible but not on par with any other resort. Numerous times we had to go order drinks or food. On our last day they handed out service call buttons at the pool. Not sure why those only came out on Saturday. Would have been great to have those every day. One day we had to get cushions for our chairs. Again, that's never happened anywhere else. -The staff aren't particularly friendly. They're not rude by any stretch but we're used to the staff smiling and saying hello when passing. More often than not, it was us who spoke first. -Upcharging - I've never seen so much upcharging at an AI resort. The AI meals were great but there were a lot of upcharge items on the menu as well as some call brands. -We had to sign for everything, AI meals/drinks included. That was new to us. We've never had to sign for anything that's part of the AI package at any previous resort. It became annoying, especially when the servers took a while to bring the bill. -As great as the food was, the drinks were equally bad. I had the worst margarita I've ever had. It got to the point I was afraid to order drinks. Maybe that's a strategy. -Had to call to have our toiletries replenished. I had PBP on my bucket list for a couple years. It really is a gorgeous resort but between the cost, service, upcharging and constant bill signing, it didn't win us over.

Went to Pueblo Bonito for a quick birthday getaway..The weather was perfect. The resort is beautiful. Stephano our Butler was awesome, very attentive, he checked on us throughout the day everyday throughout our stay and made sure that we were happy. My husband made several requests for my birthday and Stephano went above and beyond what he asked for. VIP Lounge for breakfast is a must. Not only did we have the perfect view to see the whales jumping while eating, but we also got to see fish jumping out of the water. Manuel in the VIP Lounge was great, he was very nice and friendly. This is also a great place to hear the waves crashing. It was so peaceful. There were several weddings going on throughout our stay, even though we were not there for a wedding, we did notice that the staff working on weddings paid attention to details while setting up and there was always someone double checking to make sure everything was done and tasks were completed. The food was okay. The carrot cake at the steak restaurant was delicious.

We finally got to stay at a adult only resort and we had the best time. The food was amazing. The rooms are amazing and the beds were really comfortable. The pool was perfect and not having kids splashing was great. SIBIHD the pool side waiter was always bringing us our drinks and food everyday and was very polite. Can't wait to go back.

We had a wonderful time at the resort. The check in went well except for the time share pitch which we said we were not interested in. We stayed in the Towers and our butler Gabriel was awesome. He took care of all our dinner reservations and got us a cabana one day. He really did a good job and even got us a bottle of champagne as we got engaged that day . Also wanted to give a shout out to Guadalupe and Alan at the pool bars. They were very attentive and kept us well hydrated. All the restaurants were good. We did the upgrade for the Steak place the first night to celebrate our engagement. The only downside was wearing the bracelet for the all inclusive package and having to give a room number along with signing receipts.
