    We decided to go to Bahamas for your Son’s 3rd birthday at this property after checking the online rating for this hotel Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. Checking in at this property was nightmare the staff at front desk of the hotel was helpless made us wait at lest one hour regardless of telling them our 2 year old was tired from the trip we came here to celebrate his 3rd birthday we just wanted some peace and get to our room. No excuse whatsoever they just took their time we where supposed to be checked in by 4:00pm didn’t check in until 5:00pm. I felt like there was no management overseeing the situation none even bothered to say can I please help or help you bring your luggage to the room. Absolutely 0 communication so sad property looked nice and clean however there was no service whatsoever which makes me go elsewhere next time. Definitely a shame on management side of this property very sad not to care about customers.

    Fantastic hotel. Right in the heart of midtown Manhattan. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Will defiantly be returning in the future. If you want a great hotel I nyc this is the hotel for you. Staff are amazing couldn’t made us feel more welcome

    Without sounding pretentious my stay at the Grand Hyatt was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I paid 9k AUD for a Presidential Suite for New Years. The room was not available and they slipped us into a 1 bedroom suite without advising us that we had been downgraded. No real apology when confronted about it just said. We are fully booked and that’s what you have. The check in team were lacklustre, leaning on your palm and checking us in with 1 hand, no greeting, no banter no did you enjoy your 20 hour journey to get to NY. It took 4 days of a 5 day stay to speak to anyone in authority. The furniture in the rooms is dirty and the presentation of the Club room was even worse with stains on chairs my friends put down napkins before they would sit on it. This hotel is on a list to be demolished so the upkeep is minimal, the attendants don’t care and the overall customer service was appalling. I read constantly the feedback and find it amusing that it’s still actually accepting guests. The lighting system would turn on at all hours of the night. No full length mirror so my wife had to stand in the middle of the bed and look into the bathroom mirror. It was never explained that the tourist fee you pay entitles you to spend 20USD in the snack shop on concierge level. We bought back cheesecake to the room and had to eat it with a icy pole stick as the fully equipped kitchen was not equipped with cutlery or crockery. So I did get back 3k, but in reality all I did was pay for the room I got. The turnover of Management is astounding and those that I did reach out to never responded. I had to rate the experience 1 Star as no stars will not allow you to proceed. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else to avoid the disappointment. Their CEO Mr Mark Hoplamazian should mystery stay this hotel and see what his guests are really getting , because it isn’t much.

    I traveled here in September of 2019, for the firs time. Conveniently located connected to Grand Central Station, this hotel is definitely going to be my go-to stay whenever visiting the city. The ease and convenience to every hot spot in the city and transit is what did it for me. Rooms are clean, amenities are great. I would recommend for anyone visiting who doesn't' want to lug their luggage around the city to a spot.

    Absolutely loved this hotel, not to far from times square which was important for my first time in NYC. Room was very big and spacious more than enough for me and my friend. My stay was for 4 days and found staff to be welcoming and helpful. I would 100% return to the hotel and plan on doing so in the future!
