    Checked in on a Friday afternoon. $27 dollars to self park?!?!?This is on top of the 30 dollar a day resort fee. No Disney discount or Marriott Members or even Florida Resident discount? Was checked in by a trainee who didnt know what to do. Wasn't offered any upgrades (Marriott Bonvoy) even though its during COVID and under limited capacity. Our welcome amenity that we had to ask for was the breakfast. We went the first morning and waited for 5 minutes before we decided to get up and leave. No-one came to our table. Continental Breakfast menu was very basic listed and if we wanted to order from the menu it was all an upcharge over 9 dollars. We ate dinner at II Mulino which was nice. The meatball appetizer for 13 dollars was on the small side and the gnocchi bolognese was a 4 out of 5. The pools were not crowded which was nice even though the were pretty cold. Are they not heated? Sunday morning at 1230AM the fire alarm went off and we were told to evacuate. It didnt seem like anyone knew what was going on. I will say on a positive note, the staff and the facility were following proper COVID cleanliness it looked like. Will NOT go back for another family staycation.

    We loved this hotel. They strictly enforce social distancing and made sure everyone adhered to them. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The hotel pool area was beautiful and felt safe. The location is terrific, it's right in the middle of everything and they also offer transportation to the parks. We already booked our next trip to the Swan and are looking forward to it.

    I don’t know where to even start? What a disappointment with this hotel. Marriott you ought to be ashamed to have your name on this place. We have stayed at the Swan in the past multiple times but what a mess they are now. My husband is a lifetime member with Marriott and never in our travels have we had such a stay at a resort. Tried to talk to the MOD about our concerns and that was so unprofessional. Nor did it resolve anything. The last straw was the request for a 4:30 am wake up call to make a flight and the front desk laughed and said she did not know how to do that but would get a manager and call us back. Never happened. The continental breakfast was a pure joke. The communication with housekeeping is even worse. The room was in dire need of repair. I could go on and on but I will say change your plans if you are booked here! Marriott I hope you will take notice of what is happening at this resort with your name on it and get some management in this place! They desperately need it! You have lost a very devoted customer...

    So the Walt Disney World Swan is fantastic! I hate writing great reviews about a place my husband and I love staying because we don’t want the resort to become so popular that everyone decides to stay there. But oh well, this is our go to Disney hotel! You have all the convenience and dare I say experiences of an actual Disney owned luxury resort but it’s not nearly as crowded and not as expensive! ( prior to our Swan stay we have stayed at the Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, and the Animal Kingdom Lodge with our extended family- this trip was just the two of us). You are with in walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood studios. There is a convenient coffee shop in the lobby. You can see the fireworks at night from your room depending on room location- we recommend the king alcove! We dined at the restaurants on property and the food was delicious. The pool was great as well. If your looking for a resort with nicer rooms a great location but not the absurd Disney price tag- then the Disney swan is it!

    Let me start with this: I am an RN, and I know things have changed in response to COVID 19 and economic downturns in the hospitality industry. Still, it was my husband's 60th birthday and we had to cancel our Mediterranean cruise. It seemed like a good idea to come to Disney. I made my reservation at the Dolphin for a king room with a balcony and a view of the (a) theme park. I need a bathtub wherever I stay, and I was looking forward to a nice soak when we arrived. It turned out the Dolphin was closed, and we were given a king room with a balcony and a view of the courtyard. The sound of the fountain was great! The room was nothing like what I thought we were getting, however. There was no tub. The carpet, drapes and upholstery are way overdue for refreshing, making the room feel shabby. Throughout the hotel, the upholstery was faded, worn and even torn sometimes. There were terrible fake orchids. I was very surprised to see this. I discussed the room with the front desk and discovered I was not eligible for any reduction in rate or to move to another room. In fact, when we arrived, no acknowledgement or apology was made for changing our room. I am always extremely polite to staff members, and the answer was robotic and short. Let me say that the valet and bell staff are extremely efficient and helpful as well. We had a wonderful birthday dinner at Il Mulino complete with complementary tiramisu and limoncello. Very Disney in that posh, indulgent way. We also had a few meals at Cabanas and drinks there as well. The wait staff and bartender were congenial and very pleasant. The pool area could also use new furniture and a refresh, but did not detract from the lush landscaping and Florida tropical environment. Everyone followed social distancing procedures and were wearing masks (both the staff and the other guests). I am giving the Swan a lower rating because it did not meet my expectations for our room, but I am otherwise satisfied with the experience.
