This was our first time at gran Vantana and first impressions were great. Quick check in, porter brought our luggage to the room. We were on the ground floor as booked and found everything was close…pool, buffet and ocean. Food was absolutely wonderful everyday and the staff were excellent, for entertainment, you will never be bored with events day and night. Lots of chairs around the pool and at the beach. Wi fi is spotty but works well in the lobby. With regards to chairs poolside, be prepared as many guests will put towels on chairs very very early. In fact, at the pool bar area we had a man from Quebec cover 4 chairs with towels and did not use them in 5 or more hours we sat with other guests. We wish the resort would actually enforce the posted rules about this along with the smoking policy. Overall this is a great resort and we will be back.

Great resort. Girls week vacation! I would only book with the Royal package because it is well worth it. Priority and unlimited dinner reservations which means 6:30 pm. Access to the special lounge upstairs was worth it in itself. We went 2x day for speciality drinks and the best cappuccino with baileys! Nicer towels. Private beach area which we did not use all that much. Seems to attract retirees . I appreciated not having to walk too far to get to all the things available on the resort. Staff were very friendly. Clean resort. Need more umbrellas for sun protection. No rain umbrellas in the room…so bring one! Food was very good. Entertainment at night NOT GOOD. One night however they brought in a band which was good. The guys that work on the entertainment team at the resort are amazing dancers. Other than that….not much more for solid entertainment.

I had the best experience here. The food was excellent and it has a lot of variety. The bartenders were great and the service was impeccable !! The activities in the day and during the night were fun !! Henry is always smiling, he's the best !!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Gran Ventana. We opted for the royal package which came with some very nice upgrades like; cabanas with drink service, an exclusive bar with top shelf liquor and unlimited reservations for the restaurants. All the staff were friendly, but one employee went out of his way to make our vacation that much more special. Thank you Amable! You were so friendly and attentive. This guy needs a promotion!
