    I would say that this resort is a 4.5 with room to grow. The experience was great for me and my family. All the restaurants had great food choices. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was fantastic. We went to all the restaurants but the Mexican one. Best ??s were the carrot cake and fried Ice Cream for me. My kids loved the oreo cheese cake and ice cream bar. The restaurants all have cooked to order foods and every restaurant was outstanding. My favorite was the Brazilian Ipanema and the Isla. At Ipanema it is just like Fogo Da Chao and cooked to order pasta. At Isla the red snapper and ribeye combo os off the charts. I can go one and on about the food. The pizza spot was very good also. I made it there 2x. It is open until 2pm. You can get what you want and most of the places. Some reviews are way off. I did not add any salt or anything to my food. I am very picky whe it comes to seasonings on the food. However, nothing was needed on all od my meals. As I said before every restaurant and bar was good. Even the room service meals. I had the burger and club sandwich. Both were excellent and my kids had one of each and chicken fingers. The pool bars and food service was great. The fried chicken was the bomb. My wife and kids loved the nachos. They had other foods but we didn't order them. The beach areas were excellent also. Entertainment was good throughout the day and at night. Just remember, the younger 18-30 folk will have the Moon Bar area. Best drink day and night is the Miami Vice. You can drink them all day. All and all this is a great family resort However, the is a large resort. We sayed in building 4A rm 4335 and everything was nice. Very big shower and nice size room. It was the Caribbean Sand Suite Diamond. 700+sqft. Great price and we got the private transfer for $106 round trip. Well worth it. We are going to hit the new HR resort in Cabo. They have a nice deal when you are leaving for 5 days kids free.

    We had a great stay at the HardRock PC! This place is awesome! First, its super big, so get ready to walk around or wait around for the golf carts that cart you around. This can be tedious, because like anything else, there is a rush hour! If you are trying to go to dinner, so is everybody else, and there isn't enough golf carts doing rounds to accommodate the amount of people... so some times, you end up waiting longer and longer. Not the end of the world, but its something to consider. You can also rent your own for the day and drive around like drunk maniac, like the teenagers we saw several times that almost ran us over. The place is GRAND - is what we thought when we walked in. Its got so much going for it, so many places to eat and things to do - simply awesome! And soooo many pools! The pool area was never super crowded because there are like 15 pools! I loved that! our room was OK, nothing spectacular, it didnt look nothing like the picture from when we booked, with the nice jacuzzi in the room and awesome decorations - we instead had a very plain room, no paint or decorations on the wall and no jacuzzi in the room, but we did have a small tub in the balcony. When we asked about this, we were told it was an upgrade lol! that we were in one of the newer buildings. But when we asked other guests, their rooms was just like the pictures and were awesome! so I guess we were just shortchanged there. Still, as plain as the room was, it was still good. Room Service - nonexistent! I mean, we called and called, no answer. We even called one night, left the phone by the bed rining and came back a few hours later and it was still ringing!! We called the front desk and had them transfer us just in case, same thing, just rings.. so best to just go out to the restaurants, which were AMAZING! the food, everywhere you go - the pool or a restaurant - is amazing! I love that they have carts by the pool serving food, fruit salad, hamburgers etc - because you dont have to wait long for anything. Everything tasted soooo good! The service in the restaurants was hit or miss - if you got seated next to a table with some young attractive ladies around you, the waiters would not pay attention to us because they was busy flirting with the girls - sure, I get it, however, Im the guy dropping a nice tip at the end - the girls are not. Regardless, amazing food! COVID - these people are cleaning LIKE CRAZY! When they say they are COVID prepared - they really really mean it!! This made us feel soooo good. Every time we turned around, walked by or whatever - there was someone cleaning and disinfecting! constantly!! Well done!!! They did enforce the mask requirement, but you know there are always those ediots who think they dont need to follow the rules.. not the resorts fault. The 'unlimited credits' bit, is OK - basically, the tour or whatever you are booking is just overpriced and the credits bring the price back to normal haha - which to me, this is fine since I prefer to book in the hotel vs outside. I did have a bad experience with one of the agents there booking, EDDY RICARDO RAEZ PAULINO, assumed since I look white I didn't speak Spanish. In fact, I am Hispanic and completely fluent. Because I was inquiring whether or not tours served alcohol, and since he didn't know the answer, he had to call and ask (he didnt know the product, sad) however, when he called, he spoke in Spanish and proceeded to say, repeatedly over the phone 'I have this fat bastard alcoholic' here keeps asking my if the tour serves alcohol. WOW!!. I just wanted to ask if they served booze on the tour - no need to insult me! I let it go, but he still screwed me at the end by double charging me for the tour, which at the end during check out caused me a good 50 min delay as they tried to resolve it. Which ultimately they did since they could not produce a signed voucher with my name on it. He also did not apply credits to another tour and overcharged - my fault for not paying attention. Overall, this was a great vacation in a wonderful resort. Everything is top quality here, the grounds are kept amazing, the staff are 80% amazing and the rest just dont care - by measure, thats a good ratio. We will definitely be returning this wonderful resort and highly recommend you go!

    The good - Staff is wonderful, friendly, helpful, hardworking & seem genuinely happy that you are there. Food is very good and the service is excellent. Many options for all palates. Many pools, bars, wonderful beach, etc. We attended a Disco themed dance show that was very fun- the dancing was great & we all had a blast. The not so good - Kind of like a Picasso, looks good from a distance but not so much close up. I hate to be nitpicky but I notice these things. Our room was nice but contained a college-dorm-room style mini fridge- maybe upgrade to a nicer one for such an esteemed resort? Very clean overall but the paint work was sloppy and the sliding door was tired & shabby. The resort is loud - the hallway outside our room is like a sound tunnel that echoes whenever anyone is there. Music is everywhere (Hard Rock, I get it) but it would be nice if you had control of the sound when you want quiet. Lastly the push-button electric switching is confounding and would go on in the middle of the night at random. Several areas in the resort are under construction - which was unsightly. Overall a good value - but this is more of a family-spring-break style destination, not a serene luxo-getaway. The staff makes this place for sure!

    Ok so today is 4/6/21 and I am still on the property awaiting departure tomorrow. I am definitely a little disappointed in my overall stay. It started out great on the first day but really wasn’t what I expected and hoped for for such a huge well talked about brand. Maybe the timing was bad. First things first room service is a joke! I am not sure if they need to invest in heated portables but upon delivery our food was so disgusting! It was really inedible. I dumped everything in a trash bag and that was that. Listen if you are considering visiting DR now and Hard Rock is on your list you may want to reconsider a different resort. HR is doing a lot of construction which means a lot of their trolly roads are closed which sometimes makes for a long ride around the property that should normally take 15 mins to get around to about 30-45 mins. Please don’t think that I am exaggerating because I’m not. The room.....I paid for an upgraded room in walking distance from the beach and some other things that were listed. This room was the room right below the personal assistant aka butler room. I saw none of the upgraded things that was mentioned on the website so I wish I would’ve known that and I could’ve saved myself a few extra hundred dollars. Not let’s talk about the food. There were only 2 restaurants that I enjoy the entire time and that was dinner at Isla and lunch at the pizzeria. These people do not care about serving you great food. There were a time or two where I ordered dinner, tasted it and left my entire plate of food. I was very disappointed! Next there were the freaking sales people that try to get you to attend their sales tour for this time share They stand in the lobby and STALK PEOPLE...HEAR ME LOUD AND CLEAR WHEN I SAY THIS....STAY AWAY AND RUUUUN! AS FAR AS YOU CAN. I fell for it and wasted 3 hours of my vacation. Not the 1.5 hrs that they say......3 hours. Furthermore I didn’t even get to do my excursion..for 1 they lied and said they would block off a time to ensure I’d get the one I wanted. Well they didn’t so I had to choose another one which was not contracted with the company and ended up having to pay additional money to do this particular excursion which we didn’t get to do ANYWAY because the flood gates opened up meaning it rained so bad so my husband and I asked if we could cancel and receive our credits back so we can just enjoy something at the resort. They SAID NOPE. YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE! THIS was all today. Today was a bad day.Although the property IS breathtaking I probably won’t be back. ??????Thanks Hard Rock for a very bad 1st impression of the DR. There are other things but I’m tired now. Should’ve just went with my 1st vacation choice which was Jamaica. The ceiling was about to collapse from all the rain.

    Average service and room locations. Lot of construction is going on and very noisy. Restaurant service was good. Quality of food was average. Rock Royalty is not worth the price. Will not return at this place.
