Good for the price paid

We paid $492 for 3 nights and that included ALL of our food, drinks, and alcohol. My one major complaint is that the food was very bland. Lots of variety...seafood, meats, pasta, veggies, fruit, desserts, but all very bland. I was also bummed that they don’t have a jacuzzi and the pools closed at 7pm every night, which is super early! As for the good things, the staff was amazing once you were there. The front desk people were slammed, but they would answer the phone and then hang up. So don’t try calling. They have 3 buildings on two different lots and you have access to both. The second lot is the one with the sky pool on the 5th floor and also has beach access. They have a few new guidelines because of COVID. They ask you to wear a mask at times, except for when at your own table or lounge chair or in the pool. They take your temperature at meal times before you enter the restaurant and ask that you use their hand sanitizer. I was shocked with how many people were visiting during our stay & how much the resort was still able to pull off. Overall, decent place for a cheap price. Not top of the line, but not bottom either. Very affordable and middle of the line place. ¡Muchas gracias!
Simple and Nice Hotel

The hotel is nice, the structure is great to enjoy beach and pools. It is simple, but clean and confortable. The water is salty in the bathroom, but it's not a problem. Staff are nice, and they wear masks all the time. The hotel wasn't full, so we felt safe considering covid and social distancing. The food is different, it's not cooked the way Americans and Brazilians know, but it's not bad. It could be better, snack bar had only hot dogs and pizzas everyday. The restaurant has a lot of options, but we couldn't find fried fish for example. Drinks are very good tho. Christmas dinner was the best! It was an impressive work with great food and drinks. We spent a awesome week in this beautiful place and we had no problem with the hotel. It offers a lot considering the price, so it's a good hotel!
Cozy and clean hotel with very good food and friendly staff

Good hotel with an ocean view. The hotel is not too big, but there are 5 pools on the territory, so you always will have a choice where to take a sunbath and where to swim. The staff were very friendly and helpful, not all of them know English, but we were able to talk through google translate, it was not easy but enough to understand each other. The room was in normal shape, but when we just came the first time, we have found that some things are broken and they must be changed or fixed, so we went to the reception and talked to the manager that we need somebody to fix things and in 10 or 15 minutes we already talked to the guy who fixes all thing in this hotel. I can't say that room service is very good, we didn't have our water in bottles every day, we had to go to reception and ask to bring water to us. But after cleaning, the room was clean and also, sometimes, staff left for us some animals which were done from bedcover. In the bathroom, we haven't found any usual bottles with shampoo or shower gel, but after discussion with the staff, we understood that there is one bottle with some gel in the shower, and this is must be used for all related stuff. Also, we didn't know that tap water is salted, that was something new for us. The best decision we made, was taking an ocean view room, but there were some issues: - first is that our room was under the infinity pool, and sometimes, when people were swimming in the pool, we have got water on our balcony - second one is when it's raining. After rain, we have found water in our room near balcony door, because there is some space under the balcony door and floor, and while it was raining, water filled balconys floor and started flood our room. It was not cool, but after the staff cleaned our room, everything becomes fine. Food was good, almost a whole week when we were there, food was pretty the same: - For breakfast a lot of cheese, sausage, croissants, eggs in different shapes, crisps, vegetables, fruits, sweets, coffee, tea, cacao. I don't know everything that you can imagine, you can see there. - At dinner we had soup, vegetables, different risottos, potato, and meat, fish or other seafood as squid or mussels. - At the evening meal we had almost the same as we had for dinner, but for that was added some extra meal as baked turkey or baked fish. I can't say anything bad about the food, because it was really delicious and tasty. All tables were clean and with cutlery. Also, waiters were bringing drinks while you are choosing the food. Beach is pretty clean, guys were trying to clean it up almost the whole day. Because of the ocean, the beach always was with seaweed, but there were no problems with that. The sunbeds are neat and clean, all intact. The animation was good, we had some entertainment like volleyball or darts.
Ok for the price

The beach view is beautiful and the rooftop pool too! The sky bar is nice and serves other drinks that are not local. The sushi isn't expensive if you like crab or tuna fish. The rooms aren't quite like the descriptions on the website. They are smaller. The running water everywhere is salty and there is absolutely no hot water anywhere. The food is cheap and the drinks are more water than anything, be it Orange juice, coke or beer. The snacks are always the same but ok. The free alcohol isn't really alcohol. Some staff members are rude and treat you like the last people on earth when you make a request for towels or for a better room. The WiFi only works at the reception desk. The TV doesn't work and the phone has no numbers to call for room service. There is no toilet brush in any toilet. Neither is there shampoo, toothpaste, cream or conditioner. The hotel is OK for a quick stay in Bávaro.

Worst experience I've ever received, The hotel had no running water, the food selection was very poor and not very well cooked, the people from the staff looked mad or unhappy. One day waiting for towels and blankets. Too long waiting for the room to be ready for the check in, and they said there would be parking available and in reality there was no parking but a private one where you had to pay. Lack of organization with COVID-19 restrictions.
