Room service never answered the first 3 days.. All Inclusive is only till 10 pm for drinks, (food )you only get to choose from 3 different plates ... everything is far walking distance to get anywhere! hotel service is bad, i got locked out of my room twice because the door lock battery was dead, they never answered front desk phone ...only thing cool is you can stay 24 hrs at the pool, but with out service(all inclusive) ...i seriously regret ever choosing this hotel to take a vacation! i regret paying so much and not being able to enjoy anything ??

Due to COVID, we were given this resort as a substitute for our booking in Cozumel. It looked interesting and we were given upgrades, so we accepted. A perk good after you went out deeper. Pool was full of kids, but we finally found 2 other pools deeper back into resort that were quiet and really nice, and where we were visited by monkeys, iguanas, and coatimundi. There were huge families of coatis by the main pools that were VERY aggressive in stealing ANY food, including your plate, beach bag, and the garbage. I found them fun to watch but others did not. The people asking if you want massage where MUCH more irritating. Over and over, every day. The food: ranged from terrible to wonderful. Food that you get at snack bar around pool is terrible. The Italian reservations restaurant was the worst. I ordered chicken pram and it was inedible. But yummy tiramisu! The buffet was ok, but the COVID restrictions make it difficult for them. The BEST was by far, the Japanese hibachi. I've never had such good hibachi ANY where. (But skip the soup.) We did the Brazilian and that was really good, and we did Los Lirios twice, which was fairly good but not great. Different restaurants were open different nights, and required reservations, a real pain, and were mostly empty, so not sure why they made it so hard. Entertainment was ok. My friends enjoyed the Lady Gaga show and had fun playing water polo. Drink service was ALWAYS good, but drinks were weaker than any I've had at other resorts. This resort felt like too much walking, not enough beach, but it also seemed more geared towards families. But was arranged weirdly - kids water slides are back far from activities pool. Adult section is far from restaurants. Confusion over where to go., and NO idea how it can function when full capacity, considering how long we waited, and then, we got NO map, no instructions about which pools or restaurants, and they didn't even tell us our room numbers. I did love that the wristbands were keys so didn't have to carry a card. This was ok, but I wouldn't choose this as a place to go again, except for with kids. to us was a private transportation in a very comfy Escalade, to resort. However, the arrival at resort was not. We stood in long line in lobby for almost an hour waiting to be checked in. We found that they had separated us (we had 2 rooms booked for 4 women) into different buildings. We had requested to be together, and we again, asked but they refused. A friend from Canada had met us there, and she was in yet another building. They upgraded her into nicer room, but refused to put any of us in same building. Our rooms had been booked as Penthouse Adult Select, but we were NOT in adult section. We were around the activities pools, and they were full of children. The desk said we were in "Adult Royale" but when we went to that pool, which was blessedly quiet and without kids, we were told we weren't allowed due to wristbands. Our rooms WERE nice! Big, with king poster bed and large sofa bed. Tons of drawers, closet storage, big separate shower. But instead of the terrace Jacuzzi promised in reservation, we got a big bedroom Jacuzzi. Since we were women traveling, not couples, we didn't see any thrill in that. We had to call housekeeping almost every day because they didn't seem to follow a list. One day no coffee, next day no cups. Some days they'd fill the fridge, some days nothing. The Beach was not good, very Rocky, but was good after you went out deeper. Great trip! Just returned and what a blast. If you can deal with the flights with COVID it’s worth the trouble. We loved this resort luckily had access to the adults only clubhouse and with the bartender of the gods Victor Gutierrez Rivera our new best friend we were very well spoiled and pampered. Honestly two members of the staff made our trip Victor and Elidan (Eli) Mendez Raimundo who we also met at the adult section and at the Sports game room bar. They were amazing to us and we were treated like family. I almost cried when I had to say goodbye to them. This resort has snorkeling right off your cabana at the beach. That said it of course is not a great reef or anything super interesting but again the benefit is you walk 10 steps from your cabana and can snorkel in calm water for hours. Lots of angel fish, colorful little fish, gars, little rays etc. we snorkeled every day with water shoes and our own masks and it was awesome. The pool got very crowded and with trying to social distance the beach was it for us. Food was excellent the main buffet is fine but try all the restaurants. Lots of steak which was delicious and surprising. Animal’s EVERYWHERE which was super cool. Areas of improvement would be the peddlers on the beach bugging you every 5 minutes to get a massage. They are quite annoying.
