Beautiful hotel, incredible service. The front dealing texting service was amazing - so incredibly helpful. Check in and out was easy. We felt safe with all of the covid procedures in place. Gorgeous view of the CN Tower and we got a really great rate!!! Thank you for taking care of us for a little weekend getaway!!!

My favourite Toronto hotel - friendly staff, exceptional service and impeccably clean rooms. Employees of Royal York are genuinely friendly and look for every opportunity to impress and surpass expectations. The bed and linens are heavenly and are one of the reasons that keep luring me back to the Royal York. My sincere congratulations to the general manager, and a special thank you to Paul S., Joy D. and Kendrick B. for their wonderful service.

If you're travelling to Toronto by train, it's hard to beat the Royal York. A beautiful hotel with a lot of history and character, the Royal York is soldiering through the pandemic with most amenities intact (pool and gym open as of this writing, albeit without the Whirtpool; at least two restaurants open). Potential guests concerned about COVID can at least rest assured that the rooms are (supposedly) quarantined for at least 72 hours between guests, and (extremely friendly) staff take a temperature reading from your wrist when you enter the hotel. Minor issues: a lot of the rooms are a bit small (although the luxurious King-sized bed takes up a lot of the space). Soundproofing is not great at times (hallway and neighbouring room). But these issues are, at least for me, too minor to warrant docking a star. We got an excellent deal, and are very satisfied with our stay. In particular, I would like to thank Joy Dandal, who made our checkout a breeze despite a minor account issue (which she easily and graciously took care of). If you're looking for late night takeout in the neighbourhood, it's hard to beat My Roti Place/My Dosa Place, and Alexandros.

Location is perfect for the business district, the theatre district, Union Station, Rogers Centre, Scotiabank Arena, and the waterfront. Old world luxury with top notch service. As this is a huge and old hotel, room sizes can vary enormously so specify exactly what you want. One of the very best hotels in Toronto.

Received great service from the front door and throughout our stay. Our room was nice and comfortable.Daily housekeeping was provided. Enjoyed the lounge bar & the Reign. Close to all services including the Path. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.
