    First we have to say that the location is great and the beach is amazing and that's where the good things end. And now let's see our experience. We planned to stay there for 3 days. When we first arrive, everything was ok. The hotel is huge, but old. The food is for free but the quality is bad. The second night, when we return to the room, is was full of insects. We went to the lobby to ask for a room change. There was no room available, so they send someone to CLEAN our sheets (not even change them). After a while, the insects keep returning, so they moved us to an old room with broken pipes. The next day they moved us again to a better room, which was in a better condition (except that there was mold everywhere). And it doesn't end there. In our last afternoon we went to the lobby to ask for a taxi the next day at 6.00 am (this is the time the viazul buses are leaving). The hotel was 10km from viazul station, so there was no way going on foot. They first called a taxi and the driver told us that he could pick us up at 10.00 am (instead of 6.00). As no one in the lobby tried to even talk to us, we asked for a manager and they send us to Mr. Miguel. We explained our problem (that we stuck in the hotel) and he assured us that the receptionists didn't know their job (!!!!!) and there is always a taxi in the resort entrance. Unfortunately we believed him. In the next moring, we were in the lobby at 5.30 am. We checked out and call for the taxi. After 15 minutes, no taxi had come and we went to ask about it. And the answer from the receptionist was that they have called the security guy and when he sees a taxi passes, he will send it to the hotel(!!!). And this is something that could happen in a few minutes or in a few hours. At last she yelled us to go outshide and wait. We were just very lucky that Cuba is so safe and a bus stopped and took us from the road.

    Worst hotel ever

    Please don't waste your money in this hotel. Don't make the same mistake I made on August 2019. I was fooled by the pictures and the 4 stars. The reality is way far from what the impression they want to offer. The rooms are smelly, bad furniture every where. The bathroom looked like if it never has been maintained from the beginning of the times. Any public restroom in the US looks and smells better than them. My bathroom door closed and they had to break it. No music anywhere after 10 pm. All the facilities were closed after 10 pm, except one at the other side of the hotel and the service was poor.The hotel seemed like a ghost house after 10. They don't have variety of drinks or shots, if you are a beer lover like me that's fine the only cons is the long lines to get it. I went with my family and we got 4 rooms, all them were in the same situation, so it wasn't a problem with only mine. Water falls from the ceiling in the rooms and also in the halls. My father in low room looked like a flood zone The hotel has what they call specialized restaurants. You need to make reservations for them, but you need to have more than 3 nights for having the right to do such a simple thing.Reservations for the restaurants are suppose to happen between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. I arrived on a Friday after 2 pm, on Saturday I went to make the restaurant reservation and 5 freaking minutes after 9, the restaurants were all booked, and at that time the lady very politely told me that I didn't have the right to make reservations because I only had 3 nights. I had a bad experience with the hotel in overall. The stuff is the only thing that is good about that hotel, they are heroes in a system that doesn't pay them for what they do, they do what they can with the poor resources the hotel management puts in their hands. Go to other hotel, or other country. I was in Cayo Coco and the hotel was way better than Brisas del Caribe, I also heard Guarda la Vaca is good and the keys at north of Camaguey are awesome. I promised to one of the ladies at the hotel that I would be writing a very very bad review about them every possible website I could at, and that's what I'm doing, PLEASE do not go there. Don't make the same mistake I made thinking that some bad reviews were because of refined people. I'm very easy to please with a decent service but it didn't happen at all.

    Very good facilities but very bad managed hotel !!!!

    The hotel has very good facilities in spite of a needed restoration at some points. However, several problems could be solved if some clever and efficient management is applied. Main problems: too many guests !!, the number of employees is unable to deal with a full hotel. Lack of disposable cups, lack of ice at times in several bars, lack of sodas at times, etc. The staff at the buffet restaurant looked surpassed all the time" tables not ready, dirty, etc.,etc. Not recommended in summer season at all. Anyway I think that a GOOD MANAGER can overcome most of these problems...

    The worst vacation of my life

    If you love undemanding hotel and alcohol then here is your place. Restaurant and service are lousy. There are many Cuban guests whose behavior is unfriendly to European eyes. They don't respect your peace of mind and your belongings. Many times there is no electricity or water.

    DO NOT BOOK HERE! Every other review hit the nail on the head. Unless you speak Spanish you will not get a drink. The food is horrific, flies and birds everywhere with a sewer smell thrown in for luck. I have never felt so unsafe in my life. Other hotel guests are animals! I cannot express enough how much of a bad place this is. Luckily my friend works for an airline so it was cheap to get there. If I had paid £2000 based on 2 people staying/getting here, I would have been gutted! They are simply not ready for tourists and haven't grasped basic customer service or even basic politeness. DON'T BOOK HERE!
