We recently had a week long stay at this all inclusive resort. The resort itself was situated on a hillside overlooking the gorgeous Caribbean. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the little cottages dotting the property are very quaint. The resort is small so there isn’t a great distance between the accommodations and the front desk/restaurant areas. Even the beach is just a short walk down a flight of stairs off the lobby. There were water sport activities offered and the water was nice and calm; perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking. The atmosphere at the resort was quiet and laid back. Very casual vibe with great service from the efficient and friendly staff. The food was good and lots of variety was offered at each meal. Not the place for people who like huge buffets. It was catered more to those who enjoy fine dining. My husband has a bigger appetite than I do and he was always offered more food when he enquired. I found the portions and variety more than adequate. This isn’t the type of place for those who are looking for lots to do. There was entertainment at night but it was fairly quiet for the majority of our stay. Perfect for those who are just trying to get away from a busy pace of life for some rest and relaxation. We would definitely return for another visit.

We had a memorable vacation to Antigua and staying at Cocobay Resort. There are too many positives to list, but if you have the opportunity definitely recommend staying at this resort. The management have done it right, the cottage was beautiful, the food excellent and staff open and friendly. We went with a deluxe cottage, three rows up from the beach and a short walk to amenities and beaches. Nothing was more than a 5-minute walk from any part of the resort. The room, was as pictured on web site, everything you need for a quiet relaxing stay. The room, had a small coffee pot, with mini-fridge. The bed centered the room with netting overlooking amazing views of the waters. I could see the tops of the other cottage but it did not detract from the amazing views. There is one chair and a small bench in the room, not a complaint but an observation, would have been nice to have another chair available. We did not request so it could very well have been offered. The french doors open up to the small deck with two Adirondack chairs and a hammock. Personal preference, but the hammock was cloth and felt a bit warm (uncomfortable) during daylight hours. The bathroom, is very spacious, one sink, toilet, and the showerhead. The bathroom came equipped with small panel doors that could be opened to allow for more lighting and fresh air ocean breezes while cleaning up after a day at the beach. The management has done everything they could to give privacy and peace and quiet. Private pool just off the deck was amazingly refreshing early morning and late afternoon couple relaxing. They have done it right. Food was great, every day the menu changed and the staff did their best to accommodate special requests. The wait staff was great very friendly and willing to chat and engage visitors. Amenities all around, two large pools, two bars, and basically private beach. We never had an issue getting a chair at either pool or beach. They do offer limited sports equipment included in a resort package, (3 Kayaks, 2 SUP, and one small Hobie sailboat) basically equipment was first come first serve but there were a couple of days no one was there to sign our equipment and life vests. The bartender staff would occasionally allow patrons to grab the gear and help get equipment out in the early am. Most equipment not available until after 9 am. We had no issues grabbing equipment and enjoying ourselves, it is limited so there is that. Overall minor observations but not one complaint. We would definitely stay again. one caveat of note make sure you bring small bills and sunblock and aloe, they have a small gift shop on the resort but prices are resort prices, $20 USD for aloe lotion and the staff never seemed to maintain change to break larger bills.

Wife and I stayed here in Feb 2018. We had a cottage on the hill overlooking the ocean, great views and a great little cottage with a porch/deck. Great resort with a nice little beach and great swimming pools. Food, drinks and service all excellent.

By far, the best resort, I've stayed at in years. The food was good, & the staff was awesome. I will definitely be back to visit, rather it's just to vacation or a special occasion. My boyfriend & I enjoyed spending my 40th Birthday here.

    Breathtaking! A couple's paradise!

We stayed at Cocobay for our 25th Anniversary at the end of July 2019. We absolutely loved our cottage. We chose to stay in the Premium Waterfront Suite Cottage, it was worth every penny. The view was just breathtaking. I couldn't believe how much I loved to just lounge in the hammock with my book, with a light breeze giving me a gentle push all in the shade. I found the outdoor tub incredibly relaxing. We read so many reviews about bugs, but found this to be a non-issue for us. Other guests said it was too windy for the mosquitoes. We enjoyed a couple days at the beach where we always found lounge chairs and umbrellas and a nice quiet spot. Both resort pools were amazing and not crowded. We tended to end up back at our own plunge pool in our room after the beach to chill out and enjoy the privacy. The food was very good and everyone was amazing. I would go back to Cocobay anytime and certainly recommend it to couples looking for a quiet, romantic, relaxing vacation. We recommend a dinner at Sheer Rocks (even though you have to pay) and also we enjoyed the Private dinner on the beach (make your reservation right around sunset).
