Great Classes and very friendly instructor! He teaches Zumba and sunset yoga, and so much more. Looking forward to coming back again some time soon. Everything was great, good variety and beautiful views.

    Iberostar Cozumel never disappoints.

This was our 4th time to Iberostar Cozumel and we will be back. Despite Covid 19, we had a great visit. I can say without hesitation that this visit was the best so far. The staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly. The food seem to have improved significantly in all of the venues. We really want to visit other destinations, but keep returning to Iberostar Cozumel because we know it will be a wonderful, stress free vacation.

We stayed at Iberostar the second week in April. Pros: -Serene peaceful place away from the city -super friendly staff that takes care of you and always has a smile -Quiet beach. No loud music, lots of chairs available and spaced out -Dressel divers located on the property. So super convenient for scuba and other water sports (included in the all inclusive). We snorkeled here but would recommend a true snorkel tour elsewhere. -stocked mini fridge and drinks all day -Our room-ac was making some weird loud noise and their maintenance staff was super responsive (they came within < 10 minutes of calling, more than I’ve ever experienced in the US hotels) and worked to resolve as quickly as possible. They did offer us a new room but we liked ours and wanted to stay. -The housekeeping staff made sure our room was stocked and bed made (yay vacay) the whole week. We recently stayed at a Us “5 star” that didn’t even do this, so we really appreciated this. Also fresh towels daily. -we stayed about two buildings in from the beach and loved how close it was to the beach and also still quiet. -on site and free covid tests. We scheduled these when we check in (which is what you should do) and then got the results a day later. Nice plus. -the specialty restaurants are great and if you can’t get a reservation talk to guest services. Helps change up the food -in April 2021 resort was at a 45-50% capacity, so needless to say you can walk around and maybe only run into a handful of others. Also liked that this is more open air so not walking through countless indoor halls. -The resort and the whole island takes covid very seriously (again more than I’d say for the US), so your health is being taken into consideration at all times. Cons: -Food: this wasn’t a dealbreaker (total), but as someone who enjoys eating decent food, we got tired of the Iberostar food after about day 3. Certainly some items don’t taste like they do back home but most food was bland and got repetitive. As I said for us the pros out weighed this and we ended up renting a car so we were able to make the 25 min drive to town to sight see and grab real food. I wish instead of trying to serve pizza and pasta they got some real Mexican cuisine. Food was very average at best and we would have paid more for better food. -they tried to charge us for not returning beach towels which I’ve never heard of before. They ended up not but was a very odd thing. -Beach: some other reviews mention this too, beach is rocky so not a walk in/walk out. They have a nice pier with steps to use for a swim. If you’re looking to escape your covid confines, look no further and come here. You won’t regret it!

My trip to Cozumel was amazing, it was a great week in paradise! I went fishing and snorkeling. Rooms were great, we loved how they were cleaned daily if you chose to have them cleaned. Food was great at the buffet, you could also choose to make reservations at their fine dining restaurants on the resort. Mexican, Japanese or a Steakhouse. These three restaurants were also included in the all inclusive resort. All the staff were great, I didn't meet one staff member who was grumpy towards us! We became close to many of the staff around the resort, two of our favorites were Geovani and Leonel. These men were wonderful and so caring. We were able to talk to about more than what we were needing. 10 out of 10 for all of the staff on this resort. If you are thinking about taking a vacation to the beautiful island of Cozumel, I would 100% recommend staying at the Iberostar.

My family and I recently stayed at Iberostar in Cozumel, it was hands down the best experience at a resort. For a few in our group, this was their first time leaving the country and they had a blast. From the wonderful food that the resort offered in the buffet. The buffet had many different types of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Food that would fit all accommodations needed. All the staff in the buffet were so welcoming and polite. They also have three different kinds of “fancy” restaurants to eat at that aren’t the buffet, a Mexican restaurant, Japanese restaurant, and a steak house. All were wonderful food and service. Iberostar had shows every night in their beautiful theater, shows that all ages would be able to enjoy. The performers put on shows from couples night, rock night, authentic Mexican dancing and more. There were many adult and kid friendly activities throughout the day. The staff would come around and invite you to the activities happening throughout the day. The rooms at this resort are amazing, the beds are comfy. The rooms are very clean and well taken care of. The housekeepers came to your room once a day to change your linens, clean up your room and also as an added bonus you got three kinds of pop, one carbonated water, and two beers put into your rooms fridge each day free of charge! All of the staff at this resort were amazing and SO friendly. We had some amazing bartenders Geovani, Leonel, and many more! They were all so friendly and timely. Every staff that we came in contact with were just as friendly as the last one we saw. Overall a great experience from our first day to our last day. I would recommend Iberostar to anyone thinking of going to Cozumel.
