    Great spot, good place

    I loved sitting by the shore and watching whales spout and leap, with very few people. Not a full service place which was fine for us, especially with a kitchen. The extra fee mentioned by others was a definite turn off.

    What confused me the most about this resort was that the lobby closed everyday at 8pm so we could not check in afterwards. We had to change our plans around just to make sure we checked in on time. And when we did reach there to check in, it took us a very long time to get our keys. Definitely not the best first impression. But, once we finally reached our room all was forgiven. Very clean, spacious, and we had a beautiful view. To the left we had an amazing view of the ocean, and to our right we had the gorgeous mountains. It was simply breathtaking. Considering we stayed in January, we were able to see the whales splashing around right from our hotel. Location is ideal and right across the street from the Fish Market which had amazing food!

    Long story short, Chelsea at the front desk was amazing in helping us show around and in securing (apparently - I say this cuz I never double checked what their regular rates are) a really good nightly deal for 2 nights of stay in an oceanfront room (to be very specific room 101) ....we got in and were amazed by the view but little did we know how our night and next day is going to be totally ruined after finding out the room to be infested with cockroaches (pics/videos shown below) .... When we went to front desk Dani said he can not do anything for us and said to come back in the morning to speak to the manager named Promise Oliveri. But walking around a really nice lady named Trish (a resident of the property on the first floor) provided us an emergency cell phone number which happened to be promises cell#, not sure why the front desk didn't do this for us....anyways after multiple calls and visits to the front desk we were told if we are not happy just leave with no guarantees of any refund. Writing the whole store will require me to write a lot the end of the story promise only after seeing the pics and videos agreed to give us one night refund and after inquiring further she called me to inform me that she will give a little more partial refund only because they are being nice to me not because the unit is infested with cockroaches albeit the evidence I provided to her ....in any case on top of all the trouble and spending way more to find another hotel for my family and ruining our last couple days on the island they still charged me Almost $200 CAD (that's including my losses in exchange rate due to the debit/credit while they couldve easily avoided this By cancelling the transaction as requested by me. So not only did they not be sympathetic for ruining our Vaca and help us with smtg complimentary they actually charged us for and infested unit..... P.S. For god's sake they didnt even have a crib for the baby..... save yourself the headache stay somewhere else..... wish i could upload a video here too but doesnt seem like there is an option.... i will keep looking

    no stars for this place no service no help free ants in the kitchen and bed.front desk was useless,spent four days in this place and asked them to look at the ice maker in fridge,did not happen,asked them to control the ants same results.generaly realy disappointed

    4 nights in a NO star resort

    1 Reception not maned at 4pm had to wait 25 minutes for staff to turn up. 2 Key system is 1 only set of brass keys between 4 occupants 3 Pool area very hard to open with brass key 4 no phone in room and after a request never ever got one. 5 main light and fan never worked in bed room, repair man could not fix. 6 pedestal fan didn't work either. 7 Kitchen bench covered in red ants, was told its because Maui is an Island ? RUBBISH the joint wasn't clean or fumigated. 8 Fry pan had grease and muck on the base, not washed ready for new occupants. 9 most cups, glasses and plates similar condition. (we ate out a lot) 10 TV wouldn't work, no battery in the remote, this mob checks nothing for incoming guests 11 main roller door to balcony came off its tracks 12 Ice maker in fridge didn't work. 13 booking said ocean front, room 127 was at extreme right end by the road and had a glimpse of the water through the trees of the adjoining public park. Basically a cross between Camp Runamuck and the Bastille DONT USE THIS PLACE
