    As a Marriott ambassador I travel a lot and know what a resort should be. This hotel’s exterior and grounds are amazing and on par with four seasons and ritz carltons. The service for this level of hotel is embarrassing. Having to wait 20-30 minutes for a coffee and sad breakfast options that never changed is unacceptable. Being at the pool and never being asked if we wanted food or drinks was unacceptable and the hotel lost out on hundreds of dollars of orders from my family over the four days we were there. You need to treat your bonvoy members better (and don’t use covid as an excuse at this point) and train your staff way better to bring your resort the level of service your physical property deserves. I was being kind with 3 stars.

    The Westin Maui was absolutely worth every penny. Aurora our concierge and the staff at the Lanai made it a magical trip

    I loved the Westin Maui. Aurora our concierge was stellar. She made our week and experience so much richer with places events and stops that made it the perfect fit for us. We were so lucky to have been able to upgrade to the Lanai. The staff and the Infiniti pool were an added bonus to an already Magical Break from the pandemic.

    Unbelievable. There is not a simple coffee maker in the room. What happened to a Kerig? There is some expresso machine. Who drinks that? Maybe in Europe. The singer on Sunday night, May 9th from 7-9 pm needs to be removed. Every song sounds the same and I thought I was at a funeral!!!The other nights were excellent. All the lounge chairs are zip tied together so you can't turn them around.

    My service and quality of photo are wonderful Vanessa made me feel good as a model while taking the photos. I also had a fun time and The angles and what she took were wonderful and gave me that look that I was looking for a while taking the photos the quality of service that I received in while we were on the beach and so forth and was willing to take as many as I like to make me happy

    I have to say I am very surprised by the amount of good reviews of this "resort". In terms of service, most staff we encountered were unfriendly, not helpful, and a few were downright rude. There were a few nice encounters sprinkled in, but overall I thought the staff was not up to par with Marriott standards. The rooms were tiny, granted we were in the Ocean tower so maybe that is why. Our check in agent told us we could go to the rooftop bar and pool, we could not though because we were not staying in the new tower. The staff loved to tell us we could not since we were "not paying enough". The pools were fun, but crowded all the time. People would keep their towels on chairs for hours and never use them. People would come off the beach boardwalk and use the pools leading to even more crowds. A positive though is the lobby is really beautiful. I would not recommend this hotel and wish I would have stayed at the Sheraton in walking distance.
