Not as great as last time!

neesue (Hermiston, Oregon) on Apr 13, 2024

We love the Bellagio and have stayed there multiple times. This time, they fell short of the mark. The staff were all friendly and the room was clean upon arrival, BUT housekeeping only came back to our room ONE time during a 5 day trip. I had to call the desk to get towels, kleenex and toilet paper sent up to the room. We did not have the "Do Not Disturb" sign up when we left the room so I am not sure what went wrong. We might not stay here again.

Amazing Fountains

Ingrid W (Salem, Ohio) on Apr 12, 2024

This is one of the coolest places to visit. I highly recommend it. The shopping places are amazing. From Gucci to Prada you name it! It even has an indoor pool! There is even a buffet! The food is okay not bad but not amazing, it's nice to have though. However, the outside is stunning; it has the Fountains of Bellagio: A large lake in front of the hotel that contains over 1,200 water jets that shoot water up to 460 feet high. The fountains have both music and lights. I must say it is quite relaxing and even romantic.

Bellagio is a 3.5 star Hotel

connersmc (Leavenworth, Kansas) on Apr 12, 2024

Visited this hotel for my wife’s birthday. Rude front desk clerk. She was polished at saying f*ck you with a smile when I asked her to please repeat if we could check in early and where could I store bags if that option was not available (quote, “I already told you that.”) I upgraded our room prior to checking in and she offered me another upgrade for $350 per night. No thank you. The place reeks of cigarette smoke no matter where you go. It’s disgusting. It even migrates into the elevators. Constant jackhammer noise during the day. Forget sleeping in - and that they don’t tell you this when you reserve a room amounts to theft by deception. We gambled elsewhere so we would not have to sit in cigarette smoke. Excluding desk clerk, the staff is polite and helpful. The hotel layout is a labyrinth and confusing - which could be solved by color coding paths, or having an in-house navigation app. Reserved a Stay Well King Room with a view of the city. Nice room but the bedding did not smell fresh, towels are rough, and amenities non-existent (i.e. shower cap, do not disturb sign for the door, coffee service). This is not a 5-star hotel, more like 3.5 stars.

A huge disappointment

Paul Y on Apr 12, 2024

We stayed at the Bellagio for 5 nights for a family holiday. I booked 12 rooms via MGM’s group booking service as there was a large group of us (24 people in total), including kids and elderly relatives and we needed to be close together in the hotel as well as requiring some connecting rooms for those of us with children. They said they would allocate the rooms ahead of our stay to ensure we would get the connecting rooms, and be close together in the hotel. On arrival we were told that this had not happened and we could not have any connecting rooms. We ended up spread across the hotel on different floors. This made the entire situation very stressful, with elderly relatives feeling quite isolated and parents very worried about their children. The front desk did their best, but it was a busy Friday night when we checked in and there was very little they could do. I immediately emailed the MGM group booking team to ask if they could help, or if they could move us to another property where the room situation would be more appropriate. We are now back home and I still have not had a response. To add to this, there was construction noise every day throughout our whole trip. It was quite bad on some days. Some of the rooms had a smell of sewage coming from the bathrooms. Housekeeping was inconsistent for some in our party. The idea that this is a 5 star hotel is quite frankly laughable. I appreciate that things go wrong sometimes. But what separates a 5 star hotel from the rest is how they deal with a situation like this. I appreciate that the hotel cannot conjure up rooms out of thin air. But there was no offer of any kind of financial compensation. No offer to try and move our rooms mid way through the trip when the hotel was quieter. To date I’ve not even received an apology. It’s like they simply don’t care. I spent a lot of money for what was supposed to be an amazing, once in a lifetime family holiday. The Bellagio seemed to do their best to ruin that. After the first two days when it because apparent they weren’t going to do anything we did our best to enjoy the rest of our time in Vegas. But the situation added a layer of stress that was completely unnecessary. I’ve stayed at multiple properties on the strip and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had in a Las Vegas hotel. I very nearly booked the Wynn or the Cosmo, but chose the Bellagio as I thought I’d try somewhere new. I really regret that decision. I would not stay here again.

Abysmal experience - constant construction noise 0 peace

EaterOfGods (Los Angeles, California) on Apr 11, 2024

This has been the absolute worst and I mean worst travel experience. They put me in Bellagio tower however failed to tell me that they are doing massive renovation in the tower. It has been non-stop jackhammers from 8am-5pm every single day, Non-stop, and incredibly loud / easily penetrating the walls and multiple floors. When I spoke to the front desk, they told me it’s gonna be like this for another 6 months. I have always liked staying at the Bellagio, but this trip absolutely ruined it, will never stay here again. I wish trip advisor allowed video uploads so I can show just how bad it is.
