I'm not sure what happened to my first review but here it goes. We stayed here the end of March. It was our second stay at PH. Based on the reviews on this page, we almost cancelled but glad we didnt. We checked in at 9pm and our room was facing the strip with a view of the fountains. You can smell it was just cleaned. The bathroom was clean as well. We got daily housekeeping during our 5 night stay. Check in was fast too and we were greeted by friendly staff. I went on to other social media apps to read reviews and this page seems to have to worst reviews. For us, it was not as bad as all these reviews mentioned. I want to mention a few things: -There are no coffee makers in any room in any hotels in Vegas. -No hotel is stain free. There will be stains on the carpet. -People have complained about the rates. Its Vegas and its not one of the most expensive hotels. I have spent more per night for a Microtel in other places than I have at PH. There are some other apps with reviews that I would use to compare and don't trust what you read here completely. We enjoyed out stay and will be back.

Horrible Service

I just had a disappointing stay at Planet Hollywood that was capped off by some of the most unbelievably inept customer service I've ever experienced. We didn't get the name of the person that checked us in, but he was very nice and helpful, allowing us to do an early check in and even offering an upgraded room. The room was a bit of a let down though. The view of the Bellagio fountains was partially blocked by the window decal on the outside, the room was dusty and stuffy and the temperature of the water in the shower and tub was pretty lukewarm for my standards. I also think it's quite ridiculous that you have to pay for lounge chairs at the pool when we are already paying a daily resort fee. Having to pay to rent a cabana? Sure. But having to pay extra for a comfortable place to sit by the pool is pure gouging. What is the resort fee for again? All that being said, we still would have been happy to stay at Planet Hollywood again, but then we had an encounter with assistant hotel manager Bryan Navarro that ensured we will never be back. On the day of our departure, we asked for a late checkout and paid an extra $70 for checkout at 3 PM. We returned to our room around 2 PM only to find that all three of our room keys were deactivated and headed down to the front desk to fix the issue and saw a line that was about an hour long. We waited in it and reached the front desk probably a bit after 3 PM. The woman there offered to make us new keys so we could access our room and get our stuff and we thought it was fair to ask for some type of compensation since we had been locked out of our room and waiting in line for an hour. She grabbed her supervisor and explained our situation to him. He not only didn't offer any sort of comp, but wouldn't even comp the hour we were locked out of our room. His literal response was “ sometimes the keys turn off” ??? In a hotel/casino that considers itself luxurious? In fact, he wanted to charge us MORE money for the extra hour that it might take us to go up and get our stuff even though it was the hotels fault we were locked out of our room because they forgot to reactivate our keys. It's wild that someone this unsympathetic and rude could reach a position of his magnitude. Whoever hired or promoted him should be embarrassed. The least he could have done was comp the extra checkout hour from 2 PM to 3 PM. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere. Great work, Bryan!

I guess it was OK for the price. Great location. Pillows were horrible. Aircon made loud noises. Housekeeping was done on the first day but not on day 2 and 3. Room service is all digital and requires you to send a text message to get a link to order. Unfortunately it would not send to international numbers. After 5 minutes on the phone, I finally got access. Room service delivery charges are ridiculous, so $90 later I got one of the worst burgers I've ever had. Gordon Ramsay can keep his gourmet chef burgers, I could have gotten one better at a Denny's. I guess when you consider the low price and corporate rates, it was fine for the price, but totally underwhelming.

Good place to stay.

We love to stay here and mostly get a great room. We sleep good and bed and pillows are really nice. Out last stay was not the best sleep. Toilet ran every 10 minutes all night long and shower was very little pressure (room 3593). Would not stay in this room again but our last several stays were great. Would stay here again as past stays have been great. Staff is nice. Casino is not our favorite but it is ok. We eat at hotel restaurants and all are very good. The location is also good.

Not worth the money.

Disappointed….. We originally booked two rooms, and they were suppose to be connecting. Once we arrived, we checked in and the rooms were not connected, and not even on the same floor. After standing in line to try and get it resolved, there was no connecting rooms available. They did find another room on the same floor, so we made it work. Our rooms were just ok. The AC did not cool properly, the chair was broken, I was expecting more.! No coffee, no water. We paid $30 a day for oversized parking. We saw the Scorpians, in the theater, best part of trip, and worth the money. Won’t be booking a room here again though, just overall disappointing stay.
