Birds on Salad Bar

Birds eating off salad bar in buffet and landing on deserts and pecking at them. Bird excrement on tables and chairs in buffet. Only felt sort of safe eating from covered hot dishes. Birds also eating out of baskets of chips behind bar at adult pool before heading out to unsuspecting customers. Ribeye steak at Portofino to tough to cut with knife provided. All food was very low quality. App in hotel room has info that does not match app they have you download when checking in. Phone app works well and seems most accurate. Bought upgraded room but was very disappointed. See picture. Was in room 306, which is in need of some touching up. Have been to many all-inclusive resorts and this was the worst food of all. Staff was very nice and outside areas of resort were clean for the most part. Would not book another Dreams/Hyatt stay anywhere

My stay was decent, very average, and nothing exceptional, and I probably won't come back, but that's just because I was there when occupancy was low season. There are still better hotels around the same price point in the area. The food in the buffet was average. I would not say it is terrible, but it is not very tasty either; the dinner needs to be in a restaurant where they have first come, first serve, so be prepared to stay there before they open or wait for one hour at dinner time. The pool areas require more attention. So many wrong things are happening here, from being dirty, allowing people to throw things, and not behaving considering it is a family resort; the chairs are permanently reserved, and never enforce the rule to avoid reserving more than 30 minutes; good luck if you find one after 7 am, even if nobody will come to use them until midday. The staff in the pool bars is the worst. I read terrible comments about their attitude, customer service, wait times, and drink quality, and I can confirm that all are true. Supervising the staff is a problem here. On a positive note, the food in the restaurant is above average in my humble opinion. The staff and waiters are exceptionally nice and humble, always striving to provide the best service. They deserve a perfect score of 10 for their efforts. A big shoutout to Martin in the breakfast buffet. Overall, the beach area is also tiny. Even though they have room to grow, they prefer not to do anything, which becomes a problem if the hotel occupancy is higher, as you won't find any shadows. While I believe the hotel has the potential to be better, there are areas that need improvement. For instance, the lack of professionalism in some of the staff, including at the front desk where different prices were quoted, is a concern that should be addressed. However, with the right changes, this hotel could truly shine. The level of humidity in the rooms is annoying, and the bathroom odor and humidity removal do not work. The ceiling is like paper. You will hear any noise coming from upstairs. More excellent hotels are in front of the street; I recommend you go there. The breakfast here is not tasty at all.

Honest Review for Dreams Los Cabos

Not a bad place at all. Good enough two pools and pool areas. However, not enough chairs when the resort is near full. Food was ok, ok - not enough value for the amount of money they charge as an all inclusive resort. We don't speak Spanish, so communication with the staff was quite a challenge on many occasions. However, some of the staff members are amazing. They go beyond to make your experience better.

Take your money elsewhere

Staff is slow. Rooms are mediocre. Food was 2/5 at best. Bordeaux restaurant had the worst waitress I have ever had in my life - extremely rude. She didnt bring me my drink for 45 mins, then brought the wrong one. When I told her she slammed down a plate of soup infront of my that splashed all over. Asked for a different waiter, didnt get one for 15 mins. Ended up leaving without having a drink or food. Only good thing I can say about this place is the view, but you cant even swim in the ocean because black flag is always up.

It was okay

It was okay, probably won’t go back. Hotel was very nice, staff was very helpful and polite, food was okay. It was just the Cabo location for me, turns out I’m not a Cabo fan like I am with other Mexico locations. Not being able to swim in the ocean due to current and temperatures kinda sucks, but that’s why they call it a golf resort and not a beach resort.
