Don’t stay here if you can possibly afford anywhere else

We stayed here because it was cheap and we figured we wouldn’t be in the room much anyway. And it wasn’t THAT cheap so how bad could it actually be? Answer. Really bad. The rooms look like they haven’t been updated for 40 years. They’re grotty and I wouldn’t walk around barefoot. I could have gotten over this if it was the only issue. The food court is not good. We ordered a kids turkey sandwich (I wasn’t very hungry and couldn’t face the greasy fried food) (see picture) and what we got was revolting. The food is never hot. I got a chicken avocado burger and the avocado was brown and slimy. The housekeeping is also not great. We were asked if we wanted to opt out of regular housekeeping in exchange for a gift certificate. We were happy to do this as it’s much more environmentally friendly and nobody needs daily housekeeping. We were told however if we needed towels or anything else, or a clean or the trash taking out to let housekeeping know. We ended up needing new toilet paper. We called in the morning before we went out to request this and were assured some would be brought to our room. We got in later about 9:30pm and there was no toilet paper. So we had to call and ask again and wait another 20 minutes until this arrived. Finally the most annoying and holiday ruining thing for me is the amount of maintenance going on. How loud it is and how early it starts. It’s been pretty much daily with drills and saws and painters (And housekeeping) yelling to each other. And it’s started at at least 8am every day. I understand maintenance needs to happen but do it in parts of the hotel and don’t put guests in those parts. I haven’t been able to sleep in past 8 any day. That is earlier than when I’m not on holiday! The days are long and you need rest but it’s just impossible here. the walls are also paper thin so you can literally hear your neighbour’s conversations. I know you ‘get what you pay for’ and I know this is the cheapest hotel. But it’s not that cheap. In fact it’s pretty expensive when compared to other budget hotel chains which are far far better. I’m really disappointed and next time would only come To Disney World if I could afford to stay somewhere less awful.

    Would highly recommend!

The ONLY reason I haven’t rated this hotel 5 stars is due to the super outdated rooms, and small bathroom. Other than that - everything was absolutely brilliant! This was my first time visiting Orlando & this was the perfect hotel. We stayed in the ‘Rock’ building which was perfectly suited for my music taste!! The beds were so comfy and huge (we had two singles which were practically a small double each). Shower was amazing & powerful and the room itself was very spacious. The fridge was the perfect size for drinks and snacks during your stay. The hotel staff were SO lovely & helpful (we had one small issue which was sorted out immediately by the fab reception staff) The food court was well stocked with snacks and drinks - although a few more meal choices would be good. I’d definitely recommend buying a refillable cup as they are an absolute godsend. Fill them up on your way to the parks, use them at the water fountains at the parks, then when you return to the hotel - fill them back up before returning to your room! Lots of choices of drinks (including fizzy drinks, Powerade, tea & coffee etc). I had the most wonderful stay & the shuttle buses to & from the parks were brilliant and so reliable. I will absolutely be recommending this hotel to everyone and will stay there again for definite when I next visit Florida. Thank you for a fab stay All Star Music!!!

For being a Disney “value resort”, this resort is really nice. Two very nice pools, one closer to the lobby and the other toward the back. Our room had two double beds. Plenty of room for two adults. Food court was good. Bus service to all the parks and Disney Springs very convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our 6 grandchildrens first time to Disney and our 2 daughters and son in laws first time since high school. We had 3 rooms and I was very happy that they were right next to each other. Rooms are a little outdated but we didn't care because we only spent the night there to sleep. We loved the pools and loved the Intermission food court. We had a great time and everyone on the staff was so friendly!!

Spent the weekend with family and stayed at the all star music resort. Overall we had a good weekend, room was clean and comfortablish. I love using the disney transportation system and all the cast members were super friendly. But this hotel is in serious need of upgrades, the lobby looks tired and old, the walls have border wallpaper, carpet was old and bathrooms are small and dated. We stayed in the broadway area and had to walk pretty far with tired kids to eat & board the buses. We did visit the main pool and had fun there playing pool games with the kids. Overall this budget hotel offers all the perks of staying on Disney property but none of the style & comforts you expect from Disney. I would only stay here again if the price is right and only for a night or 2 at most. I did see some construction in the Calypso area, hopefully they are adding some much needed upgrades.
