Bad bad bad experience
BrentL726 (Glenwood Springs, Colorado) on Mar 22, 2024
This has been my worst Hyatt experience. Checking in was painfully slow. Pet representations were inaccurate. Building under construction, many facilities closed, with no explanation of this. Soo much dust on bath mirrors. They were nearly impossible to use. Elevators only served parts of the build had access. Tried room service multiple times to no avail, I had reservations to visit after vacation but canceled, no thanks. Only bright spot was the meal we had at the bar, because the restaurant was supposed to be open, but no response. Very disappointed, shame on the corporation for putting this product out??? Will not be using Hyatt anywhere again, too many brands that want to do it right.
Awesome Valet!

The valet attendant, Mariano H, was extremely helpful and kind to interact with. He went over and beyond to make experience wonderful!! The resort is very kid friendly and we have loved the fun activities for children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Used to be a great property

I have been traveling consistently to this property for 6 years and the quality has deteriorated drastically. This last stay was the final straw. They are under renovations now (which was poorly advertised), so hopefully it returns back to what it once was.
Weekend stay 3/15-3/18/2024

This is a beautiful property and great location. However, the rooms were fairly dated and I did not think justified the $600+ per night room charge. The service was good and the staff was friendly, but the room was less than expected for the price. The carpet and other features (tv, coffee maker, patio furniture) appeared old and again, not worth the price.
Under construction

I'm sure this is a decent place when it's not under construction, BUT we visited March 2024 and the larger pool was still under construction and closed along with several restaurants and bars, there were piled up mattresses in the hallways, hall carpets were dirty & rippling. The one small adult pool was overrun with too many people in the hot tub & pool area. Certainly not worth the $495/night average we paid including resort fees, taxes, etc. It's not walking distance to anything so you have to drive elsewhere to eat, shop, etc. The grounds are beautiful and once renovations are complete, it will be a lovely place to stay. When booking, there was no warning about the renovation and that would have been appreciated or the ability to cancel within 7 days of booking.
