    100% excellent service. Mario, Juan,Ricardo, Alvaro and Karla. They work so well as a team. Couldn't ask for better service ? went well above standard service. We will be back again for that reason alone. Carol and Ed from Colorado

    The Hotel has the escential to a good stay, not the food. They have to improve it all the food court! The staff of entertaiment and the front desk was great! We recieve an failfull service of maintanance in our room. The wedding event was good! Again, not the food!

    Alexa and Damien were great, I do wish there would have been a better reservation system as the phone system was a nightmare (if it worked at all), we did have to change rooms as the hot water decided to quit working, once we moved rooms things fell into place. Great view, great beach, great pools. The kids loved it. The hotel was older, but the staff was super helpful and great. I would stay again. GO WHALE WATCHING, unbelievable how many there are!!!

    When we selected Crown paradise we picked a mid priced all inclusive and air package. All the employees were very good about wearing their masks all the time, and most of the guests were good about wearing their masks indoors. I’ll start with the facilities. Although the room and some of the facilities were starting to get a little dated, they were exceptionally clean. Wherever we went there were people cleaning at all times. For the price we paid, I was very happy with the quality of the amenities and blown away with the cleanliness. The staff was the best part of this trip, and the reason we will come back. Alexa was our concierge host. We connected our phones to the resorts WIFI (which is good but does have dead zones) and downloaded the app WhatsApp. With this app we were able to message Alexa and ask questions, and she would usually answer right away, sometimes it would take a couple minutes. I assumed it took a minute because she was with another customer, which was perfectly fine with me. She also sent us the resort menu, which listed the times each restaurant were open, and activities for the week. She asked us to do the membership presentation, and we did. It was very low pressure and the most comfortable presentation like this we have seen. Even though we didn’t buy, that didn’t change anyone’s attitude toward us and we still had great service for the duration of the trip. We also mentioned that my wife’s 50th birthday was happening while we were there. Alexa arranged for a surprise for my wife. At dinner one night they brought a small cake with a candle, a bottle of champagne, and played happy birthday. It was a very nice touch. We went to the French restaurant, Japanese, Mexican, both buffets, and some of the snack bars. All of the food was good and some was great. Every person we interacted with was kind, helpful and engaging. Even with my terrible Spanglish they made me feel comfortable and welcomed. If one of the staff didn’t speak enough English, or me Spanish, to understand, they immediately found someone who could. Whenever we would return to a restaurant or bar, if the same staff was there they would recognize us. Each morning we both like a coffee and orange juice. We didn’t even have to ask, the staff would ask us if we wanted that again. When I returned to the bar the bartender would ask if I wanted my usual. It was like I had been going to these places for years. I really can’t say enough about the quality of service we received. All that being said, the all inclusive package says gratuities are included. Initially we weren’t tipping anyone. We couldn’t help ourselves, the service was too good not to tip. Perhaps our service was extra good because we tipped, but our tips were not extremely large. 20 pesos here, 50 pesos there, and at dinner sometimes more. Reward the people giving great service. Other things we liked: There was a family (mom, dad, baby) cats that would be around the resort early in the morning and evening, loved it. The view from most places in the resort is great, the bay with mountains in the background. It is a short taxi ride from the airport, and a short taxi ride to downtown. The harbor is walking distance. You could watch people take off and land parasailing on the beach right in front of the bar. 30 feet away! Our massages in the spa were great, and reasonably priced. Excursions were reasonably priced. We felt safe everywhere, not just on the resort. What we didn’t like: Beach vendors. Every day it was a nearly nonstop flow of beach vendors asking if you wanted anything. Even when you are laying on a beach bed or sitting at the bar. Most would move on with a shake of the head or wave of the hand. A few were persistent and annoying. There was a wedding, and another celebration while we were there. The wedding was quite peaceful and just fine. The celebration the night before had obnoxiously loud music, but at least it ended at midnight. Unfortunately for us we had an excursion early the next morning, so our sleep was cut a little short. Could be worse. Overall we were extremely satisfied with this vacation. It was perhaps the best customer service we have ever had. I feel like we got more than we paid for.

    My gold ring and necklace were stolen along with some money. Hotel took no responsibility. It was no coincidence that night before the incident my keys didn't work. And when they tries to scan door for records of who has entered my room for housekeeping they said batteries to my door didn't work so they couldn't retrieve information. They did nothing but allow me to fill out a report then refused to give me a copy of my report. Gave me the run around and said it was my fault for not checking my valuables on a daily to make sure nothing was missing. I spoke to omar santos first and he did nothing..he left and never came back then told me he was off. Don't ever visit this hotel,there were multiple reports of stolen items and they did nothing. Worst hotel i have ever been too and I travel. Lot. Don't recommend this place at as as it cannot be trusted and they expect you to check your valuableS daily to make sure nothing is missing..you should not have to do this on any vacation in any hotel. The fact that they advise their guest to do this says it all. Plus pools are freezing food is always cold and horrible as far as tast and no variety..same food all week. Unless you want a horrible experience do not visit this hotel ever nor recommend it
