In the beautiful area of Punta Cana, many of the hotels share the big draws to the region - amazing beaches, perfect weather, nice people. What made our experience at Sensatori different was the way our family was treated - nothing short of amazing. We're experienced travelers that have visited many places in Asia and Latin America, so we know what the expect. Martires at the front desk went above and beyond in how we were treated. Very talented man - an asset to the team.

We booked a last minute all inclusive trip over the New Year and this spit didn’t disappoint. First, the amenities and activities were plentiful and the staff excellent. We played tennis every day and took part in at least one class, whether it was paddle-board yoga or pilates or a dance class. The gym is well equipped and they have a beautiful wellness platform when I practiced my morning yoga alone every day. The beach cabanas and chairs plentiful and the beach well maintained with lots of bars to keep you hydrated We don’t have kids so we upgraded to the adults only section of the hotel with access to the pool. Well worth it, especially if you’re on the inside pool, giving you quick access to your own adults only bar manned by Julian every day. Second, varied and interesting food options. The Italian resto was excellent and we went back there twice. The evening entertainment is fun and different and we liked that the evening shows were in their own theatre (and not in the main dining room) so you could choose or not to attend. It’s a quiet place - they don’t play music at the beach or late into the night - and the bar was dead around 10-11 when we were eager to go and meet people. But, we had a good time nonetheless. My main complaint about the resort is not the quality of the performers or performances but rather the anglo-dominance in the choice of entertainment. We were in the DR but could have been in America or the UK - it was all English songs and performances. I would have loved a more authentic representation of local art, dance, music and culture - reggaeton, bachata, salsa music! Bachata evening classes with cocktails, local artists and songs. You get the gist.

We stayed here during August 2019 and was our first time in the Caribbean. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty and all the staff were exceptional especially the pool waitress and the sining waitress in sugarcane!! The room was big in size and was always kept clean. The pool was of good size and was located very near the beach. The food was phenomenal and loved the lunch time BBQ. On a Tuesday night if the weathers good they hold a beach party which is there chance to pull out all the stops! Unfortunately on our final day Hurricane Dorian wasn't far away so we had a bad day of weather but luckily out flight wasn't delayed! Overall a great and relaxing trip and would definitely stay again!

My partner and I absolutley loved this holiday! The resort is spectacularly equipped - I've never stayed in a hotel of the size, it was superb. The service from the staff cannot be faulted; they consistently went above and beyond for us (safe to say our glasses were never empty). We did tip a couple of the staff members after there brilliant service and if you're planning to do so I would take American Dollars rather than the local currency. I have also never stayed in a hotel which had so much staff readily available to help you. We found the food to be the best we've ever experienced in any All Inclusive we have ever stayed in. My partner has quite a few severe allergies but all the food at the buffet was labelled with common allergens on which is great piece of mind. We only dined at two of the A La Carte restaurants as we found the buffet food was so good (when does that ever happen). But on the occasions that we did eat in the A La Carte they also enquired about any allergies upon entry to the restaurant and were most helpful with getting food options for him. At the buffet the food choice was vast and to a much higher quality than any hotel I have ever stayed in. They had a different theme each night and even one night hosted a beach BBQ which was brillant. The room was gorgeous and the mini bar was well stocked every day (free of charge). If you are planning on going on any excursions then again I recommend you take US Dollars as that's what they charge you in. Oddly whilst purchasing items in Punta Cana airport on the way home I had to pay an exchange rate to pay in Dominican Pesos rather than Dollars so something to bare in mind. We went in January which is part of the dry season but we did experience some rain - mostly just on the morning time before we had ventured up to breakfast anyway and it soon cleared.

Room fab but no sunshine on balcony, entertainment could be much better very low budget, bars run out of drinks every day i.e. no branded vodka, rose wine, straws. No music at pools, ghost town at night and only one bar open that closes at 1 pm. It would be good to have the choice when you wish to go to bed. Definitely won't be back and so disappointed. Here for a special birthday and hotel put banners on the door only to be remover before the birthday.
