Me and my husband went on our second honeymoon and they treated us great, when they knew we were there on our honey moon we got a wine bottle then we got chocolate covered strawberries. We got to meet the best people out here both of our concierge Alma and Mark were great to us, they were always so involve. I do have to say that the buffet is not The Best, I'm not a complainer it will help you survive your vacations just don't expect too much. The beach was very nice but it was just a tiny spot so that was kind of a downer. I recommend you getting a massage we went on our last day and i was the best. Maria and Berenice are great at what they do, they had my husband snoring.

We came for our nephew’s wedding and this is the only reason for staying here. Will NOT come back. I waited for over 20 min multiple times as only the second person in line for towels, drinks, help at the front desk, etc with multiple employees able to assist but no acknowledgment. I started to get the feeling it was bc I’m American. ?? The only time that was wonderful was the night of the wedding (which I know they paid a pretty penny for!). A very small amount of the staff were friendly- Miriam (spa), Moses (Tram), and Julio (beach buffet). 1. Front desk- dismissive, rude, and unfriendly, especially after having to get our key card reprogrammed MULTIPLE times! And yes, we didn’t keep it anywhere near our cell phones! 2. Tram- not enough and I wish I got this one tram driver’s name that was insanely rude! (Tallish, Hispanic man that listens to rap music) Blew past my daughter and I as the only 2 ppl waiting with 3 open seats saying ‘no room’. We then waited for 15 min for him to come back and then roll his eyes when we got in the tram. Again...problem with our ethnicity??? 3. Food was awful! Same thing over and over and over.... plus the quality was poor. The ONLY good meal we had was when we went into Playa- La Parrilla! 4. Rooms - sub par. Toilet seat broken; TV fuzzy; the hallway outside our door was continually wet from dripping vents in ceiling making the floor VERY slippery; never enough towels; only 2 working plugs in our entire Jr suite. 5. I would say to upgrade to the Royal level to expect better service but reading other reviews, it probably wouldn’t make much difference. Some restaurants are included in the price and then others will charge. Needless to say, we were packed and ready by 7am on our last day even though our flight didn’t leave until close to 3pm. Ready to get home and NEVER return!

Every morning for breakfast I had an omelette made by Mauva. I would bring my own cheese from the cheese station and she added to my omelette. She was so nice and even seemed to remember me when I came back the next morning. Thank you for yummy breakfast omelette!

My husband and I just came back from a first trip away from kids in 20 years. We feel so lucky to have chosen this resort for such a special occasion. The entire property is picturesque. The food is all delicious, with soooo many different options. The evening entertainment crew is wonderful, truly professional. I literally can't say anything negative about anyone or anything that we encountered during our stay. It was lovely. One person i would especially like to mention, though, is Adrian, our server at the buffet. He could not do enough for us!! He introduced me to my new favorite drink.. a Miami vice, lol. One day, my husband and I came up to the buffet looking just for coffee. We were exhausted after a long, Mayan ruins tour....Adrian saw us, and told us the buffet was closed, but asked what we needed. He took the time to make me coffee, even though they were closed, and told us "it was our home" and we were "family". ?? He truly made us feel that way on several occasions. Muchas Gracias, Adrian!!

Very clean and comfortable resort. It is designed to be everything for a family. But we found it to be very nice for a couple. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Mutli-pools, not over run with children. The staff is insanely helpful. They are quick to help you find your way around ornoffer suggestions.
