We fell in love with this Secrets Capri. It is a small resort and very easy to get around to find things. Our vacation started a month or so before we ever arrived. I contacted the property thru the Secrets website by email. They had our floor concierge Rodrigo Serdio H. contact us. He answered all our questions (and there were many). He made dinner reservations that we wanted before we arrived. Once we arrived we met. He obviously enjoys his job, and does it well. During the week he sent us a gorgeous flower arrangement and chocolate covered strawberries. Any maintenance issues were taken care of within minutes. The property is dated but it’s the Caribbean. Sun sand and salt will take its toll. They kept the property very nice. The Food: If you go away hungry it’s your fault. I started my day off at the Coco Café which is open 24 hrs. Breakfast was either at the La Riviera buffet or for the later risers the Cactus Club. The seaside grill for is open for lunch and it turns into a steak house for dinner. The Oceana was packed so you get there early but they do have a beeper that calls when your dinner time is. We enjoyed drinks at the Lobby Bar while we waited. Kudos to our evening bartender. We ate everywhere except the Portofino. Not into pasta. But Himitsu, was the Hibachi and our #1. Antonio was a great hibachi chef. You need to make reservation for the Himitsu and Portofino. Each morning around 9:30am they start setting up the poolside grill which opens at noon. One last thing, Room service, spot on. The hardest part was figuring out the tablet. The Room: Pictures to follow. It was nice and quaint. We choose Preferred Club Deluxe Tropical View. We didn’t spend much time there. It was well kept, the air-condition worked great, plenty of hot water. We slept well so the bed was good. If we were missing anything we would ask and it arrived shortly. Our Room was 222. It was ocean view if you stood at the edge of the balcony. We did have robes and slippers. The Pool: This is laid out to hang in, as the picture shows. It is in need of repairs but if you watch where you walk it’s all good. Lots of chairs around the pool. No need to reserve them early unless you want a specific spot. Watch leaving the swim up bar, there is a slippery drop off. Juan was the most amazing bartender at the pool. Sometime we would get drinks before we knew we needed them. Thumbs up. They had many shows at poolside in the evening with the outdoor buffets. There is usually music in the lobby in the early evening, the main show usually at 8 p.m., then entertainment later in the Desires Lounge. Desires has pool tables, table games, karaoke, dancing. Lots of fun later in the evening. The Beach: The beach was perfect with white sand with almost no seaweed. The water was warm and perfect. There were plenty of chaise lounges. Groundskeepers do a great job cleaning up the seagrass each day. The maintenance team was working tirelessly all week. Don’t forget to take a tour to the lagoon. The Staff: Service was more than excellent and the entertainment team was great. Shows were earlier than most places we have stayed which we loved. The talent these people have is mind blowing. The entertainment team is THE VERY BEST, and Christopher, Bernice, and Georgeana put up with a lot of our kidding around but gave it back just as well. There were many in their entertainment team that I didn’t get names, but we won’t forget any of them. They did a fabulous job with the Queen Tribute and Jersey Boys tribute. Three Last words, Tip, Tip, Tip. They due a phenomenal job We liked it for the staff, Food, Pool and beach. Our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. We will definitely do it again.

I don’t write reviews but I met a lot of honeymooners on our trip and just want to inform people as to what to expect. This was the first secrets resort we had been to and I was not impressed. This is one of their cheapest resorts and it does show. The staff is great and this does not reflect on the workers. The room we were given had mold and it looked freshly painted over. Within 5 minutes it was bugging my nose and my wife’s throat. We asked to be moved and we were given a room that was nice. There are leaks all over the resort with towels to catch them. The power went out a few times. One day it went out and came back on around 10 times. I is in the middle of the jungle so I am understanding when there are some issues. We have been to a few resort chains and secrets capri is not a good choice if you can afford it go to excellence riviera cancun or a riu would be around the same price if not cheaper. I went to excellence for my honeymoon and cannot recommend it enough. Lastly I expect to be able to purchase extras at any all inclusive but the amount you are barked at for extras here is uncomfortable. Tip the staff they do work hard but the secrets resort chain will most likely not get my business anymore.

This is one beautiful resort. The food is delicious. The grounds and rooms are extremely clean. The beach and sand was perfect. The pool is a bit shallow and gets warm in the summer, just divided your time between pool and ocean. We were upgraded to a spectacular room with oceanfront view and pool view. Very nice trip. Thank you we will be back.

    This is a real gem!

This adults-only (that's extra points right there!) resort is a hidden gem. It is smaller than most Secrets resorts, but the service is just as amazing as the larger ones. The rooms are on the smaller side, but this place is not made to stay in your room...although the 24hr room service makes it difficult to not stay in sometimes. The restaurants are typical of this company: Japanese(hibachi and sushi), Italian, Seafood, Steak, and a buffet, but this resort has a great seaside cafe that serves a great selection of ceviches!!! The Italian was the absolute best! The hibachi show was very good and the food was great, and the rest were very good, but not as good as the Italian. The shows were fantastic and the entertainment crew was fantastic (as they usually are with Secrets). Special shout out to Geo and Christopher! The lobby bar was beautiful and the pool bar was unbelievably fast and efficient, but the sports bar needed another bartender. Shout out to the pool bar guru, Juan!!! Overall, this is a smaller, well run, and friendly resort with great amenities and Preferred Club perks. We will be back!

We had a great time at Secrets Capri. The service was top notch and the beaches were pristine. It is a smaller resort that gives you an intimate feel with 5 star service. The rooms were so comfortable and immaculately clean
