    Had a great on my stay for my 30th birthday! Very clean and all the staff was amazing! Especially the casino Dealers and floor managers. Even tho I did not win money they was so nice and took care of me. So much I'm writing this like 3 years later. Not sure if I did review before but I found the card in my wallet and remembered them. Dealer Omar V was awesome and I believe M. Ortiz and another guy took care of me. Anyways wanted to say thank you!

    So I wasn’t going to write a negative review because I’m a regular Marriott visitor and usually like to give the benefit of the doubt, but after only 2 days and such poor circumstances I figured it was worth others knowing. We have been to this location and stayed at this hotel twice before. This is NO LONGER the hotel it used to be. Our room smelled disgusting upon arrival like mold and weed and body odor all rolled into one. Immediately after getting off the elevator you can smell it. Plus you get off the elevator and there is trash in the hallways (it hasn’t moved for two days but the room service is on the floor). The staff are hit or miss. Some are nice some are rude, to be expected, but if you want great service from the younger male staff do what all the spring breakers do, wander around mostly naked! Pool at capacity? Not if you’re a twenty something half naked girl and her similarly dressed friends. Bar service slow and lacking? Not if your bathing suit covers less than the lingerie in your closet. So if you’re at all considering bringing your family or kids here maybe reconsider, unless you’re looking for this type of service and environment. Another attraction here is its casino, buuuttttt with covid and the limited availability good luck. One would think they would reserve guest who are spending their money to stay to have priority. Not the case. But don’t worry. They will put you on a “list” for when something becomes available (which is never because there are 2 tables open with 3 seats = six players). Don’t bother with the breakfast in the morning. Two staff cooking and serving and regardless of the 30 people waiting no additional staff will come help them. So you stand and wait 30 minutes in a line of people for a sub par omelet you spend 19 pp on or that you prepaid for. And last but not least the elevators... one guest or family per person, we hadn’t considered this and while social distancing is important it means be prepared to wait a while, a long while for a trip to or from your room. Once again not the hotels fault and a good policy just be prepared. Will continue to review throughout the stay to paint a picture for all those considering travel to this Marriott. Although I can’t say I would recommend.

    So I have to say that for a 2 double bed ocean front room, $1,537.53 for 4 nights is not worth the money. My entire room is dated. The carpet is dirty and stained, the shower curtain needs to be trashed, the furniture is in need of repair. The refrigerator stinks and if you want a cup you have to go to the desk to ask for one. Then to top it all off, when its time for bed I realize i only have a sheet and duvet cover, no duvet. I called REPEATEDLY before security finally answers the phone. She tells me she will check to see if she has someone to bring it to me and call back. When she calls, she tells me that I have to come pick it up because the front desk employees are preparing to close. Really? So I go to the desk and ask the clerk for my blanket. His response-“we don’t have any blankets right now” Really? This is a hotel with a housekeeping dept and you don’t have a blanket. I don’t have a blanket, what am I supposed to do. I ask for the manager. No manager on duty. So basically, they don’t give a crap about customers here. All they want is the money. At least the security guard tried to help and gave me three sheets to sub as a blanket. I still wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and I plan to share with everyone I know. High price, low class.

    I will probably never stay here again.

    I’ll write another review concerning the actual hotel and we’re they fell short later, but for the moment... it’s 1AM I have called the front desk 3 times. They can’t control these spring breakers the misión is so loud my IMPACT windows are vibrating. The front desk said they would report but it’s been 2 hours. The island is beautiful and people are great. But this BS is absurd that they can’t enforce a noise complaint.

    Very beautiful hotel... lots of promises... rooms nicely appointed. However, service is poor at best. Loud music middle of the night,( 4am).. Clientele a LOT to be desired. They " refresh" the rooms but don't clean them. Actually they don't "refresh" the rooms until you really make it an issue.. Excess trash in the halls as they don't pick up in the rooms... Resort fee?? WHY?? .. The odor of Marijuana permeates the air... in front of children... security does nothing... Throngs of loud party people making all kinds of noise...NOT IDEAL... Expected more from a Marriott.. This place is a do not...Sadly I didn't heed the warnings of other reviewers
