This was the absolute best stay abroad I’ve ever had. If you’re trying to decide between this hotel and another one, choose THIS One! I promise you won’t regret. The service here was impeccable from the attendant/bell hop/shuttle driver (Atol) to the front desk ladies to the service at the Cabana Bar and even the Towel attendants! I have never experienced service this good. I got the Ocean View Junior suite and it was huge like the size of a condo. With a full kitchen and full Balcony that had a dining table And 2 full lawn chairs. Please stay here! The grounds are gorgeous and this part of the beach is so laid back and very safe feeling especially with Covid concerns. It was my fiancée’s birthday and I let the front desk know this and they arranged for a full cake and champagne with a very sweet letter addressed to him in the room upon our arrival. Everyone on the property remembered our names and wished him a happy birthday as well. I’m still blown away by everyone’s Kindness. Also the complimentary breakfast at Cabana bar was GREAT. There’s so many options to choose from. We also ate at Cabana Bar for lunch a few times and the food was good as well!

We spent the most amazing week at Ocean Club with a group of about 12 for a small wedding celebration. We can't say enough about the property, staff and amenities. Ocean Club is by far the best location on Grace Bay as it's the last resort (only 2 private condominium properties past it) leaving guests with about a mile of private beach past the resort. The resort also has a sister property, Ocean Club West that guests also have access to. There is a complimentary shuttle that runs all day, or you can rent bikes, or walk the less than a mile to it on the beach. It's a great perk! We took the shuttle one day, had lunch at Solana and then walked to all of the shops which couldn't have been more convenient. We stayed in a ground floor Junior Suite and it was so nice and spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and dishware, but we really enjoyed eating at the restaurants on property and nearby. Ocean Club has 2 restaurants, Cabana Bar - which we ate at every single day because it was SO good and Opus, an upscale dinner restaurant, we ate there twice and are still dreaming about it! We also enjoyed Solana at Ocean Club West for lunch a few times. The resort has done a fantastic job to adhere to COVID requirements and goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable during your stay. They have contactless check-in that was so easy and convenient. They also have on-site testing for travelers who need to show a negative test to return home. The process was simple and convenient, we made an appointment at the front desk after check-in. Took the complimentary shuttle over to Ocean Club West, and then had our results sent back to Ocean Club where we picked them up at the front desk. All in all we can't say enough about how great this property is and can't wait to go back!

I stayed at Ocean Club in February, booked with a girl-friend, as we needed a getaway from kids, zoom school, pandemic, everything... This was the perfect trip and exactly what we needed! The resort was pretty quiet and really laid back. We spent most of our time on the beach, and it really felt like we had the place to ourselves. I know people were there because I saw cars in the parking lot, and the Cabana bar always had people, but around the pool and on the beach it was just so calm. Speaking of Cabana Bar, John Wayne and Kamario are amazing, so much fun! Because we were only there for a few days we didn't really leave the property, but we didn't feel like we needed to either, they do free breakfast, and we really enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere of Cabana. We went over to Opus one night for oysters (delicious!!). I mentioned customer service in my title because everyone was so pleasant, but the one thing that really hit me. On the final day, at check-out, I needed to make one stop before heading to the airport, which I mentioned in front of the woman working the front-desk. I checked-out of the hotel, and was getting out of the car from my one pit-stop. A van comes racing up to us, it was the Ocean Club bellman. I accidentally left my cell-phone with my debit card and driver's license in the hotel room. As soon as I'd left, the housekeeping team went in to clean and noticed it, they got it to the front desk immediately, who remembered that I was making a pit-stop, and had the bellman try to get me. I'm so grateful for that teamwork and quick attention. I can't imagine leaving my cell phone, debit card and driver's license in a foreign country. But they acted quickly and got it back to me. I will definitely be back to Ocean Club. Might bring my family, but a girl's trip was way more fun :)

We stayed in 9308 for 7 nights for a much needed mental break. The resort has the most beautiful, most peaceful strip of beach on Grace Bay. We walked the beach from Bight Reef to Sunset Beach in Leeward and also explored other beaches on the island (Long Bay, Sapodilla) and it was always a pleasure to come back to our little slice of heaven. The pink umbrellas set against the turquoise water and the fine white sand was postcard perfect. Some days we almost had the beach to ourselves. The property is older and the pool is small/uninviting however the grounds are very lush and superbly maintained. There was a unpleasant smell in our building and/or room, we figured a mix of pesticide to keep bugs away and old furniture/humidity? Our room was located at the back of the property (we wanted a double bed room and knew about the location) and we did get a bit of road noise which we quickly adjusted too. We did not have a view but we were surrounded by lush trees and absolutely loved the screened patio - it was huge and very well furnished and provided much needed extra room (we used it for all our meals). Kitchenette was very well equipped, we had everything we needed to make breakfast and the occasional snack and we loved the the full size fridge. Washer and dryer were a bonus and we were happy to use it (bring your own detergent pods, the powder supplied does not dissolve well). Beds were very comfortable with good quality linens and towels plentiful. A/C was very good and we made plenty of use of the ceiling fan. Loved the vaulted ceiling! Good TV with many stations and great Wifi that worked anywhere on the beach. Very spacious bathroom with double sinks and L'Occitane toiletries. Plenty of storage with lots of hangers. Housekeeping was great, although we had to call for it (we never figured out the frequency - we called every other day but we were once told it's only provided every 3 days??). Things to improve in this particular room - the shower flow was pretty weak, one of the sinks did not drain properly, the bathroom cabinets showed some wear and tear and the pillows were very flat and lumpy. Oh, and the toilet paper provided was super thin - not sure how this would save any money as you just end up using more. Staff was courteous and worked tirelessly. We had a car (a must for this location as restaurants are not within walk in distance and taxis are very expensive) and had plenty of parking at any given time. We ate at Cabana on the beach and the setting was very beautiful and quiet with great service. Great option for takeout to enjoy on your beach chair. We occasionally shopped at the little store in the next door plaza and it was very well stocked with decent prices. After our stay at OCR we stayed at a different, more upscale property on Grace Bay and both myself and my daughter agreed that we missed OCR, the beach and the tranquility. We also spent a day at Ocean Club West - the sister property - it was very nice and we loved the shaded cabanas on the beach however it was a busier more social vibe (many families with smaller kids). All in all - our stay at OCR felt like a home away from home and we would love to return (but would select a different room category/more updated).

Ocean Club (East) offers condo units that are 100% privately owned and then put into a rental pool managed by a separate company. As such, there is some slight variation in decor of each unit, but a good standard is maintained for all units (there was a group of us, so I saw a few different units). Standard offering are very well equipped kitchens, in-room laundry, and daily service. The bathrooms vary in size, but all nicely maintained. The beds are outstanding, extremely comfortable, Westin Heavenly Bed equal in my opinion. Beach setting is perfect. All of Grace Bay is beautiful, you can’t go wrong, but the quality of the section where Ocean Club is located is pure heaven. Love having the beach loungers and beach umbrellas readily set up each day by the staff. Due to the facilities just recently reopening, it was very quiet and especially peaceful for our stay, but I’m confident the property would still provide a blissful stay even in busier times. The beach/poolside cafe is called Cabana. It’s separately owned and managed. I loved Cabana, the service super super friendly and fun (John Wayne offering outstanding service every day of our stay, and makes an awesome Rum Punch; also met the owners, a lovely mom/dad/daughter trip that we’re also lovely...and also own an great sports bar (Danny Bouy’s) where I enjoyed an awesome NFL Sunday with the locals). Prices in Turks and Caicos can be outrageous, but Cabana was very reasonable by comparison. The fried fish sandwich the best I’ve ever had - ever! - and my friends and I enjoyed that sandwich an almost embarrassing number of times. Also in property is Opus, an upscale restaurant, not on the water but surrounded by a lovely garden. I loved my one dinner there, the lobster bisque and grilled local fish were great, and the service was kind and sincere. However, my friends weren’t as satisfied with their dishes so, combined with the high prices, we never went back. Small and friendly grocery mart also on the property has almost all the basics you will need, aside from fresh meats and produce if you plan on cooking in your unit or using the grills available for guests to use. As with everything on the island, liquor is expensive, but by comparison the prices at the grocery mart were comparable or better than you’d find in the local large grocery store. By the way, the local grocery store is an IGA affiliate, located in central Grace Bay. If you don’t have a rental car just take the free shuttle to Ocean Club West, and it’s a short 5 minute walk to the IGA from that property (it does have a separate name, which I don’t remember, but you can just Google it). Other recommended special night out dinners include Grace’s Cottage (extraordinary charm and service, and food was great - special recognition of the grilled lobster and lamb rack; note, the lobstwr thermidor was just okay compared to the grilled) and Coco Bistro (excellent lobster bisque - okay, Opus’ version was slightly better - grilled lobster, and pretty much everything else on the menu). Just be prepared that these restaurants, and any other comparable on the island will run more than $100-130 per person with appetizer and drinks. All considered, I’ll be back to Ocean Club as soon as possible!
