Without question the most important French singer songwriter of all time, the legendary Charles Aznavour returns to London’s Royal Albert Hall in June 2018.

Last performing at the hall to a sell audience in 2015, 93-year-old Aznavour will present his greatest hits taken from his staggering collection of 294 albums.

As the oldest artist to headline the Royal Albert Hall, Aznavour remains a prolific touring artiste. In 2018 he will also perform shows in Amsterdam, St Petersburg and Moscow.

Earlier this year, Aznavour was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, capping off a more than 70 year career. Aznavour began his extraordinary career selling his words and music to the Paris boulevardiers of the 40s and 50s – Edith Piaf, Maurice Chevalier and Charles Trenet.

The legendary French chanson star is considered to be one of the greatest singer-songwriters of all time and enjoyed major success in the UK with his No.1 single She – which featured in the blockbuster film Notting Hill. He has had further hits with The Old Fashioned Way and Yesterday When I Was Young.

Named the world’s greatest entertainer in a CNN poll, his songs have influenced some of the most successful artists of all time; Elton John, Sammy Davis Jr, Fred Astaire and Celine Dion are just few names to have recorded his beloved songs.

Born in Paris to Armenian parents, he has sold more than 100 million records in 80 countries. He has been described as France's equivalent to Frank Sinatra.
