Gregg Saretsky became WestJet President and CEO in April 2010. As President and CEO, Mr. Saretsky is responsible for both the strategic direction of the Corporation and the day-to-day operations of WestJet, leading more than 9,000 WestJetters as they deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Gregg Saretsky joined WestJet in June 2009 as Vice-President of WestJet Vacations, before being named Executive Vice-President, Operations, for WestJet in October 2009. In this capacity, Mr. Saretsky was responsible for flight operations, inflight service, airport guest services, WestJet's operations control centre, and technical operations (maintenance).

Mr. Saretsky began his career in aviation with Canadian Airlines in 1985 as a route development planner and rose through the ranks to the position of Vice-President, Airports, and Vice-President, Marketing, before joining Alaska Airlines in 1998 as Senior Vice-President, Marketing and Planning. He also served as Executive Vice-President of Flight Operations and Marketing, responsible for the airline's flight crews, operations, and consumer programs and activities. Prior thereto, Mr. Saretsky led the development of Alaska Airlines' alliance strategy and was instrumental in building new airline and tour operator partnerships.

Mr. Saretsky holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of British Columbia.

Mr. Saretsky was named Alberta’s Business Person of the Year by Venture Magazine in 2012.

Mr. Saretsky currently sits on the Board of the Calgary Telus Convention Centre.

Cam Kenyon became WestJet's Executive Vice-President, Operations in February 2011. In this role, Mr. Kenyon is responsible for WestJet's Guest Services (Airports) Team, Inflight Services, Learning and Development, Flight Operations (including the Operational Control Centre), and Technical (Maintenance) Operations.

Mr. Kenyon joined WestJet from Lynx Aviation in Denver, Colorado, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Lynx Aviation, Mr. Kenyon worked as the Director of Flight Operations Training, Chief Pilot, and subsequently as Vice-President, Flight Operations, at Frontier Airlines from 2000 to 2008.

Mr. Kenyon graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1986 where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He obtained his Master of Arts degree in international affairs from American University that same year.

Following his graduation, Mr. Kenyon served in the United States Navy from 1986 to 1994 in a variety of positions including pilot training officer, safety officer, mission commander and standardization pilot. He also attended the Aviation Safety Officer School at the Naval Postgraduate School in 1993 and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1997.

Vito Culmone joined WestJet as Executive Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer in March 2007. He is responsible for the overall financial management of WestJet and its financial reporting, as well as for multiple corporate functions including Controllership, Treasury, Investor Relations, Legal, Government Relations, Procurement and Corporate Real Estate.

Prior to joining WestJet, Mr. Culmone enjoyed a 12-year career at Molson Inc. where he worked in a number of business environments. At Molson Mr. Culmone worked both domestically and internationally in various senior leadership roles and gained significant experience in negotiating, evaluating and leading strategic investment opportunities. His previous roles at Molson included Vice-President, Controller and Corporate Finance, Molson Inc. (pre-merger with Coors); Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Molson U.S.A.; and Vice-President, Commercial Finance at Molson Canada.

Mr. Culmone obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1989 while at PricewaterhouseCoopers and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.

Mr. Culmone currently sits on the board of Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society (STARS), a non-profit, charitable organization.

Ferio Pugliese became Executive Vice-President and President of WestJet's regional airline, WestJet Encore, in November 2012. Mr. Pugliese joined WestJet in 2007. Serving in his previous role as WestJet's Executive Vice-President People, Culture and Inflight Services, Mr. Pugliese was responsible for overseeing all aspects of WestJet's People (human resources, corporate real-estate and inflight services) department. Mr. Pugliese and his team, in collaboration with PACT, were also instrumental in defining and executing people plans that supported WestJet's culture and strategic direction.

Prior to joining WestJet, his previous roles included Vice President, Human Resources, at Catalyst Paper Corporation in Vancouver, Director of Human Resources Development at Windsor Casino Ltd., and Director of Human Resources Development at Casino Rama, Carnival Resorts and Casinos.

A Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), Mr. Pugliese holds a Master of Arts degree in Adult Education from Central Michigan University, an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor, and completed the Richard Ivey School of Business executive development program. He is a member of the Conference Board of Canada's Human Resources Executive Council and has worked in various senior leadership roles. In 2007, Mr. Pugliese was recognized by Caldwell Partners as one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40.

Bob Cummings became Executive Vice-President, Sales, Marketing and Guest Experience, in 2009. His responsibilities include corporate development, network planning and scheduling, revenue management, airline partnerships, marketing and communications, sales, distribution (including call centres), guest experience planning, revenue management and network planning, and WestJet Vacations. Prior to that, he held the title of Executive Vice-President, Guest Experience and Marketing. Shortly after he joined WestJet in March 2005 as Vice-President, Marketing, Mr. Cummings mobilized his team to create the WestJet owners advertising campaign, which has been WestJet’s most successful brand communications platform to date.

Prior to joining WestJet, Mr. Cummings worked for over eight years in the wireless industry in Canada including a one-year position in Romania launching the country's first mobile phone service.

Mr. Cummings was named Canada's top marketing executive by Canadian Business magazine in 2008.

Mr. Cummings achieved his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1989 from the University of Victoria, followed by his Masters in Business Administration from Queen's University in 1992.

Cheryl Smith became Executive Vice-President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) in April 2011. As WestJet's first CIO, Ms. Smith is responsible for the strategic direction of Information Technology (IT) at WestJet as it continues to be a key differentiator in delivering the Corporation's exceptional guest experience. In her role as CIO, Ms. Smith also oversees the daily IT operations that support WestJet’s day-to-day operations. Her mission is to ensure WestJet's IT process and team achieves a level of operational excellence that supports WestJet's rapid growth.

Ms. Smith brings more than 30 years of experience in IT design, development, implementation and operations to her leadership role at WestJet. She has been the CIO for McKesson, the largest health-care company in the world, as well as the CIO for KeySpan Energy, a major gas and electric energy company in the eastern U.S. She has held executive positions in IT at Verizon and Honeywell Federal Systems and was a principal in the technology consulting division at Ernst & Young. Most recently, Ms. Smith was the Chief Executive Officer of the technology-based venture start-up Utility.net, a company that offers high-speed low-cost Internet access to rural areas.

Ms. Smith is the co-founder of the CIO Institute, a certificate program that she helped found at

the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, which has now spread to a number of universities around the world. Ms. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Masters in Public Administration, both from Pennsylvania State University.
