I will return for my tenth stay at CSA this December. The location and beach are beautiful. The grounds are covered with palms and the serpentine pathways through the greenery belies the fact that there are a lot of people on the site. Staff are friendly and helpful. I always look forward to meeting staff members who have been at CSA since my first visit. They still remember me. I enjoy the whole experience from socializing over a breakfast of whatever I feel like eating, to the scuba diving on a beautiful new boat. The dive staff is experienced and makes every dive fun and safe for beginners as well as interesting for experienced divers. I enjoy the casual luxury of the place, with no need to dress up in the evenings and the staff being friendly and helpful while not intruding on the experience. The weight room is first class and accommodates the casual work out to some very heavy lifting. Donovan, the supervisor, is a knowledgeable quiet man who can give every assistance with your workout or answer any questions you may have about your fitness plan. Donovan, thanks for helping me to my heaviest lifts while working with you in Jamaica. I enjoy the wide variety of food and have never gone hungry at CSA !!! The tennis courts are well kept and tennis is part of what makes CSA a destination resort. Night life is as varied as the menu, from piano bar to the house band led by the talented Lincon, to visiting singers and performers. Every night different and enjoyable. The rooms are simple, clean spacious. Hats off to Couples Swept Away, my happy place.

We took our Honeymoon at Couples Swept Away in Negril Jamaica and it was a week to remember. The facility offered everything from health and fitness, luxury spa, night life, entertainment, water and beach activities, excursions, and relaxation. It was a wonderful mix of romance, fun and socializing. The age groups was from 20's to 50's and all guests we met were enjoying their stay. We never heard a single couple with a complaint about the facility. The beach is clean, well groomed and warm as a bath tub. There is drink service to the beach and lots of lounge chairs and floaters for the ocean. If you are looking for a tan there's tons of room but lots of shade for those who prefer to read or just relax. The many restaurants offered wonderful flavours and variety every day. You were never tired of the large buffet but you still had great options for al a cart with the other restaurants. There are two finer dining al a cart restaurants so bring at least two nice outfits so you can celebrate in style. There is limited beef choices but tons of chicken, fish, seafood, pork and vegetarian options. We also participated in the private dinner on the beach (for an additional fee) and loved the evening would recommend to all. The staff were amazing and the hospitality flowed as well as the free drinks. There was never a request they didn't try to accommodate and they never met you without a smile. We met many guests that were return visitors and we will definitely join the group of repeaters. A Honeymoon to remember. Thank you to Couples Swept Away and Westjet Vacations!

An extraordinary staff, always eager and well disposed to help. The sports and spa facilities are excellent and the best in Jamaica. For an all inclusive, it is very satisfying that they don't cut corners, the food is 5 star, excellent quality liquor, bar service, even on the beach!! The long beach and the crystal clear water was a perfect scene. Great entertainment, morning and evening at the Palms, great effort put out by the entire staff to stage the Friday night Beach party. Even at 98% capacity, the layout and facilities are such that you never feel crowded, never fighting for a good spot on the beach. Was our second time back, going back next year with friends. Thank you swept away for another wonderful experience. Anthony and Mary

Couples Swept Away was a perfect honeymoon! It was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of pools to find a quite spot, wasn't too big of a resort, not too busy, no big party groups there, activities aimed at couples & honeymooners were a lot of fun. Location was good - 1.5hrs away from airport. Most off resort activities required a little drive - horseback riding only 20mins away. Zipline, however, was about a 2hr drive. Downtown shopping area only a 10min drive if you wanted to buy coffee or booze off resort (we did, big savings). Staff very laid back and easy going. It's a no-tipping, no-cash resort, which is nice, but takes the bartering out of the equation if you're into that. We would go back, for sure. There was an issue to sewer smells on the resort throughout our stay. Might of been related to Hurricane Sandy that was the week before. There was also 2 male bathrooms I noted to have their floor drains back up. Might be an issue that's resolved now, but the smell wasn't pleasant.

We have travelled for years and have stayed at numerous all inclusives in Mexico as well as the Dominican Republic and Cuba. We have also tried top notch cruises and have found Couples Swept away by far the best. First of all the beach - the beach is amazing and goes on for miles. Than there is the staff - who were all extremely welcoming. As to the food, it was very good and the selection of liquors varied and top notch. The exercise facility alone is worth the trip with a lap pool, tennis courts as well as tennis clinics, yoga, pilates, jogging track, basketball court and on and on it goes. All activities are included - water skiing, a sunset cruise, snorkelling in either day light or at night. You can't fit it all in in just a short week. We have already decided to return. Next year we will forgo the beach front verandah suite- as all the rooms are nice -and spend the money on a longer stay.

My wife & I spent two amazing weeks at Couples Swept Away in Negril in Aug 2011. We have never seen a beach so beautiful or water so crystal blue in our lives. The staff at CSA were truly amazing, always smiling & always willing to offer advice or assistance if needed. The Hotel grounds were great, very tropical & lush, the work out facilities were by far the best we?ve ever experienced at a hotel. The restaurants were very good & offered a wide variety of dining options. If I had to pick one thing that put Couples Swept Away above any other hotel we stayed at in the past it would have to be all the inclusions. Everything from catamaran cruises & scuba diving to the strict no tipping policy truly helped make our holiday one of the most relaxing getaways we?ve ever been on!

This was our 5th trip at this resort. We fell in love with it the first time we stayed here and just keep coming back. There were 4 of us traveling, 2 couples. One stayed in the Great House the other stayed in the beach front rooms. Can't go wrong with any of those 2 room categories. We absolutely LOVE the beach! Just sitting around doing nothing and just spending time with each other. The kitchen in the Palms was not open this trip they are upgrading it, but it didn't effect anything. They really have worked everything out to where it works with the rest of the restaurants on the property. I was a little worried since it wouldn't be the "usual" but it didn't bother us at all. All of the food was still excellent. The drinks were great. The staff were the best! The staff is one of the reasons why we keep coming back. We've made some great friends at the resort since we've been going. It's just so welcoming to see their faces when we return. We scheduled a private cat cruise with Max, we've done this in the past and it did not disappoint. Marshmello with his mate on this cruise she was just a pleasure to be around. So many employees to thank for making our stay great! Shelly Ann, Ruel, Sherlene, Beckaroo, Anthony, and Collin. We had massages hot bamboo and hot stone, WOW were they amazing. Shout out to Nancy and Georgette for a most relaxing time. I couldn't have asked for a better trip. We will be back for sure, soon come. Thanks couples staff for another great stay!

We stayed at CSA the first week of August. It was our first time to a Couples resort and to Jamaica, and we had a blast! As the title mentions the beach is stunning, and the centerpiece of this resort. We loved that all of the chairs had floats on them, and floating in the sea was one of our favorite things to do The food was above average for an AI, and we were particularly impressed by the quality of the food on the buffet. The two restaurants that require reservations were also very good. Drinks were fruity, plentiful, and delicious, but we would have like to see a bar that stayed open late other than the one in the club. We also really enjoyed all of the activities, although 'sand gravity' took hold and we didn't do as many things as we planned. Our room was in the garden veranda suite category and it was just fine. The bed was a little hard, but the ground floor patio made up for it. Overall we had a really great time and will probably be back some day.

Will always love vacationing at CSA- Our trip here was mid July & was ANOTHER great vacation. We were fortunate this year that after our 7 nights at CSA, we got to spend another 3 nights at another Couples resort-(Sans Souci). I did notice some items I will bring up later but nothing that will deter us from returning AGAIN or ruined our vacation. We booked our trip through a travel agent this time around-(TripGuyTravel,) great travel agent to work with & would recommend. First off... currently there are some renovations going at the resort with the kitchen at their main buffet Palms restaurant and they are also renovating some rooms in the original section of the resort. Capacity is lower -(at least during the time we went-Mid July) so you should NOT have any issues getting into any of the restaurant that require reservations-(only 2 restaurants require reservations-Feathers and Lemongrass) OR getting any of the inclusive activities that you want to do since the capacity is currently lower. Not sure how long renovations are expected to take but again.. we did not receive any interuptions during our stay or have issues with that going on. Even was able to get a palapa just about everyday we sat on the beach which if you know or have been here before, are always hard to come by & in high demand- usually all the palapas are taken early by folks playing the towel game. So that was a bonus in our eyes this time around. I will have to say we are early risers so we ventured out to plot our spot on the beach usually by 8am- So I can't speak for palapa availability after that time. Currently instead of having 4 lunch options that you would typically have, you have 3 options until renovations on the Palms kitchen is complete. We always had sufficient LUNCH options and enough variety even though was limited to 3 this time around. Nothing has changed as far as breakfast OR dinner options. Breakfast and Dinner options are all still the same & ALL available with the exception of the location of the Patois restaurant a la carte breakfast menu got moved to their Lemongrass restaurant in the mornings and the Palms breakfast buffet got relocated to the Patois restaurant location. Beach as usual.. beautiful and pretty as ever In our opinion the best beach out of all 4 Couples resorts. Powder white sand in and out of the water. NO seaweed. Calm warm water just like having a pool on that fantastic beach. Yes there are vendors, musicians walking the beach which does not bother us. A lot of reviews complain about that but we love the interaction with the jamaican people. And never was a time that a "No thank you" for something we were not interested in did not work . There are many other resorts with private beaches -even some of the other Couples resorts have their own private beaches- so if that sort of thing really bothers you that much, please do your research and consider a different resort if that will ruin your vacation. I can say though the other places may NOT have as nice as beach as you get at CSA- but again even of the 4 Couples resort, we feel CSA has the best beach out of all of them. I know others will disagree but again that is our opinion. Some things noticed and as I mentioned earlier-nothing to deter us from returning or that ruined our vacay- the upkeep of the bars particularly the beach bars and swim up pool bar not as squeaky clean as we remembered them being. NOT gross or to the point I would not get a drink from any of them...just think they could use a good Spring cleaning scrubbing... I guess you can say. The Grill would always run out of patties early-(particularly beef) So that can be viewed in 2 ways... good that i am not stuffing my face gaining more weight OR bad you really want one of those delicious things but they keep running out of patties early. And only other thing we noticed... in recent years they did away with providing individual toiletries as far as Shampoo, body soap etc which is fine with us and they installed large refillable dispensaries now for lotion and Shampoo and body soup in their showers BUT I noticed they were NOT refilling with their quality and very nicely fragrant body soap AND shampoo using perhaps a lesser quality or cheaper refillable soap and shampoo. I know I know... gripe about their soap and shampoo... how petty right? I just don't want this place to start cutting corners- as to the reason we keep coming back to CSA because they haven't cut corners, skimped and always maintained a high standard we come to expect- so I hope this does not become a trend OR perhaps this was an anomalie in the the block we stayed this year and they just did not have the regular items. We also noticed a lot of groups this time around as well. Some bars and restaurants got loud with some of these larger groups but nothing to the point it bothered us- just an observation. Well - I guess that's all I can think of for now that perhaps you have not read already in other reviews...Until we meet again CSA!!!! Oh wait... don't miss the Silverbirds steel drum performance on Wednesday nights- Great and very entertaining show. We got the chance to see them perform at both CSA and CSS and the show at CSA was a lot more entertaining. The "Original Twerk" must have originated in Jamaica because that Miley stuff has nothing on some of the Silverbird performers. Hope the review helps any future considering and returning guests to Couples Swept Away-
