Wonderful resort with excellent staff and beautiful grounds. They have 3 on-site restaurants in Asian, Mexican and Smokehouse. All of which are good, but the real star is the buffet with endless selections and very quality food to suit any taste or palate. Overall, the activities are somewhat minimal and the alcohol selection is somewhat limited unless you pay a premium for top tier. There is an on-site theater and every night at 9 they have a production. We had a magic show, A rock show, A variety type show. karaoke night all the what's good. Would definitely recommend I'm very family friendly. With an older crowd vibe.

We had a fantastic stay at Iberostar Cozumel. The food exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely friendly, and the property was beautiful. This was our first experience at an all-inclusive and we will definitely be back. We used Dressel divers that is on site to dive with. The operation was very well run and the divemaster's were great. They went above and beyond to make our diving great while dealing with extremely rude divers. My only complaint of the trip could also be blamed on me. I was using the porch of our room to allow my diving gear to dry in the sun. When we came back from a fishing excursion, I noticed my dive camera setup was out of place and the flashlight had been taken. It was put on with a clamp and set screw and was definitely stolen as I know it was there when we left. The resort was friendly and said they would be on the lookout for it, but I believe it was already long gone. Fortunately, my travel insurance covered the cost, so I wasn't out anything. So just be smarter than me, and make sure you leave all your dive stuff up. Other than that, we couldn't of asked for a better week!

First, to dispel an inaccuracy in recent review, the “entire” resort does not smell of sewage! I am here on my 12 th vist. Yes, they do environmentally responsible watering with recycled waste water and walking in mornings you will get some whiffs . But only on the paths when they are watering. I have never in 120 days being there smelled anything in pool, food service , beach or dive shop areas. Great staff, Wilbert the best, but all very good. Yea it is Mexico and things are different . Rooms are spartan but adequate. Workout facility decent considering usage and price. No, they do not have every piece of equipment for every muscle group.. Thermostats do not seem to work well and room is cold at night. AC shuts off when vacated. Wish shows were earlier. 9 late for me. Lobby entertainment good! Dive staff wonderful ! Limited choices on beer, rather no choice, Dos Exxes or..Dos Exxes. Negative reviews must be from wealthy peeps used to a staff catering to their every whim and a 5 star Michelin chef on hand. Prior reviewer said 20 bucks cab ride to town; We paid 25 plus tip.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Iberostar Cozumel. The food selection was great, the staff was amazing and the activities were so fun. The bartenders all over were so nice but we especially loved Adrian and Armando! They always remembered our drink order and were so nice. Daniella and Maximillano and all the star friends activity people were SO FUN and really great at their job! I would absolutely come back.

Just know that the entire resort smells of raw sewage. The restaurants are fine and the restaurants service is great but there are only three bars and two of them close at sundown. I counted four bartenders in total and they range between hospitable and hostile. Plan to wait extensively for any drink, alcoholic or nonalcoholic. The fitness center is a size of a broom closet and is guarded by some creepster who spends his time ogling you and making you uncomfortable while you try to work out. Get there before 0900 to avoid him. On the upside, they have cool animals and the location is secluded.
