Hotel stay at the Rose Hall Beach Hotel

The facilities were excellent with everything we needed catered for. The majority of staff delivered exceptional customer service except for a select few. In particular, the service we received from Shantel was amazing. She went over and beyond to ensure our stay was fuss free and nice and relaxed. It was a huge pity we did not manage to say goodbye as we did not get to see her before we left. However, we would very much hope to see her soon should we book again.

Chef From Restaurant Cornwell Nickeischa Buffet She has made a fantastic buffet great experience many options and great food and I would come here again any time in the future Thank you so much for great hospitality and good food and great service Best wishes Manuel

Report is showing age shower is anemic. Worse the sales pitch for vacation club. Sheldon was overbearing. Told him NO numerous times. Wanted me to sign my friends name. Not a great experience. Put a damper on the trip. Japanese restaurants food was good. The server was not engaged with us. Pool and grounds were fun.

Worse experience ever

Staff members don’t have hosting experience level. They taking their sweet time to get our order even for water I have to ask many times. I always go for my yearly vacation with my wife in May to celebrate our birthdays and anniversary for the last 3 years I been having an unbelievable treat for our occasions. Staff were going above and beyond their way to accommodate our needs and gave us a lot of compliments stuff like free spa time and free cabana by the beach and I didn’t even have to ask for anything. I was expecting the same here but unfortunately poor management and bad attitude from staff ruined our vacation. I was in my room and all the sudden one of staff opened the door to surprise us with 2 pieces of cake for our birthday I was in my underwear and I just froze couldn’t believe what’s happening As per management there is no reservation required to g to any restaurant except the Japanese restaurant went to the Italian restaurant and they had a waiting list and the host was very rude when I asked her how long is the wait she answered I can’t give an estimate time because I can’t kick people while they are eating so I left and I went to the steak house and I had the same problem with a really nasty host that refused to smile and she doesn’t know how to talk to customers. She had me waiting for 30 minutes and I see a lot of people leaving already when I looked at the dining room there was at least 5 empty tables and no one was waiting so I had to ask her what was the reason for me to wait and she had 5 tables empty she responded that she had to go with the waiting list and within few seconds she texted my wife and came to us did you hear your phone I just texted you and I didn’t like that game and I left. The point is no kind hospitality , there is no one watch what the staff are doing .

We had a great time at Iberostar Rose Hall Beach!!!

We went with family and friends, and there were eight of us. We had a great time from the first day until we checked out at the resort. The staff was wonderful. Jovayne, our favorite guy, was our concierge, and he checked in on us throughout our stay. He wasn't just a staff; he became a friend. He's a rockstar!! He made us feel at home, always available and responsive to our questions. Jean cleaned our room and kept it neat and clean. She was great. At the buffet, Twinisha was phenomenal. We always looked for her when we ate there. The food selection was okay; I expected better. At the Japanese restaurant, the food wasn’t that great. Tyrell, the chef, was awesome. He made it fun for us. In the Italian restaurant, the food was better than I expected. Aleesha, who served us, was alright. Maybe she wasn't having a good day that day; she looked serious and missed our drinks a few times. At Uncle Tony’s, the food was alright. Jaleel was amazing, so cheerful and fun. He came by to say hello when he saw us in the theater which was nice of him. The sports bar was good for the most part. I wished they played sports on a bigger screen with sound. Alister at the bar could be better. He didn’t appear to be enjoying his work. We tried to make conversation with him, but he didn’t seem interested. All activities were amazing. We enjoyed every show. What was great was they included the audience in the show. They made it more of an interactive experience. We enjoyed the jerk chicken, patties, ox tail, beef, and goat curry. They were delicious. Stone, the manager at check-in and concierge, was great. She was friendly. The pool was beautiful, and the staff kept it clean every day. The pool bar was good; they attended to you quickly. The beach was okay but not what I expected. It wasn’t sandy; the sand was quite hard and compact. The ocean was not clean, with lots of seaweed. One thing I didn’t like was the vendors in paddle boats hanging out by the beach. I want to thank all the staff who made us feel at home and so welcome. A huge thank you to Jovayne (concierge). Love that guy. Thank you to Twinisha and Cassandra at the buffet, Tyrell at the Japanese restaurant, and Jaleel at Uncle Tony’s." Thank you to all those who coordinated the activities and the DJ.
