Overall great, but pricey. Water park was great. Stay away from the meatballs at Pizza Lab made son sick. Many restaurants to choose from.

Bahamar

I was almost afraid to book a vacation at Bahamar after reading hundreds of reviews on the Facebook Bahamar group and I am so glad I didn't. The hotel, grounds, pools, beaches, restaurants, shops and casinos were all immaculate. While costly, the food was excellent, with options from A-Z. We didn't have one bad meal. Our kids and grandkids had a wonderful time, which is priceless. We will definitely be back!

Don’t stay here

Booked a suite with a full kitchen. Get to the hotel and was told by shenique from the front desk that they over booked and I would be upgraded to a room with more amenities including a butler (reserve). The butler never came and I did not have access to the reserve amenities still. I was told I didn't have access because that wasn't my original room…. It was not an upgrade at all if I don't have access to the amenities that was suppose to come with the room. Dont let them tell you the reserve is an upgrade. No kitchen or washer and dryer. Look else where. They will overbook your room and give you the wrong information.

A Few Beautiful Days at Baha Mar

Had a great few days at the resort…our first time back to the island in 15+ years. Spent the last day at Elixer Cabana and Anthia was amazing and took great care of us. Most last days are not memorable but Anthia made this one of them. We stayed at Atlantis before coming here, to me Atlantis is dated and it was like we were stepping into luxury at Baha Mar…totally recommend!

Grand Hyatt Bahamar Tyesha the Kind Soul from Front desk

Tyesha at the front desk of Grand Hyatt Baha mar truly knows what great customer service looks like ! She sets such an amazing tone, and made my check in experience, pleasurable, and efficient! She went above and beyond to listen, and make sure that I felt seen by her. At the time of my stay, I was anxiously awaiting results of a biopsy. During check in I was exhausted and in pain. I made Tyesha aware of that and she did everything in her power to make me feel ease. She went above and beyond to get me taken care of. I truly appreciate her kind heart, beautiful smile and thoughtful gestures. She is definitely apart of the reason why I am loyal to Hyatt! The amazing surprise gift that she left me in my room made my heart smile. Every guess visiting bahamar should check in with Tyesha! She really knows what it means to give category 6 customer service! I wish I could say the same for the rest of Grand Hyatt Bahamar staff, but I’ll go into details about that on another review.
