Wonderful stay close to Disney

jaxgal (Suwanee, Georgia) on May 18, 2024

Super convenient and clean hotel! Every worker I encountered was friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and actually very quiet at night compared to others I have stayed at in the area. Loved the free breakfast with the make your own Mickey waffles! Quick and reliable transportation to the parks to and from the hotel along with Disney Springs if you didn’t feel like walking. Walk was quick and easy. I was by myself on this quick trip and felt super safe staying here. I would not hesitate to book this hotel over any Disney resort!

Jass

Jaskaransukhija (Brampton, Canada) on May 14, 2024

Overall experience was good, bar and pool are well kept and clean. Breakfast menu should change between few days. Eating same breakfast for 5 days is not fun. Restaurant should consider adding more to menu and start serving at tables. Washroom doors need lock for privacy

The best hotel in America

tulio g on May 14, 2024

It's been a long time since I've stayed in such a good hotel... I felt like I was in the resorts of my country (Brazil), all with a lot of friendliness and joy. I had a great time. Everything is perfect! From the reception to the kitchen! Perfect bed. Wonderful swimming pool. Impossible better location.

It was nice

Jax S on May 13, 2024

Comfy and clean room. Hot tub broke one night but was fixed some hours later. Paid for a fireworks viewing room and received a room that had a partial view-not really worth purchasing imo bc they are really far away. Really nice bartenders and morning staff at breakfast and kickback.

Pleasant 12 nights in Disney World

rhodgreen (Southampton, United Kingdom) on May 12, 2024

Stayed here for 12 nights in March / April with wife and two teens, used as a base for our first visit to Disney World. Check in was all straight forward, unfortunately (due to a flight delay) we arrived at 7:35pm, five minutes too late for Kickback, which is very strict on times (apparently the drinks dispensers switch off automatically at 7.30?). It would have been a nice gesture to have been given a voucher for a free drink at the main bar after our 12h travels. Pre arrival requests such as high floor room were acknowledged and honoured. General pleasant atmosphere all around the hotel, staff friendly and most holidaymaker guests seem to be enjoying themselves. Pool was a decent size for an evening swim after the parks. Breakfast was monotonous, sometimes the scrambled eggs varied depending on what was in the salad the night before. There was always plenty of food and drink available. Evening food in the kickback was basic, but just enough to be a main meal. Salad or nachos for starters, hot dogs, then three dishes, usually a veg, potato and meat which varied on a 5-6 night rotation with some variations. We had egg fried rice one night cooked by a chef at the buffet which was really good. The meat options were meatballs (with gravy), chicken tenders, sliced chicken (not the best quality), chilli con carne (instead of soup), tachos and the best being pulled pork (with Mac n cheese). Beer was Bud Lite (why!) and a local red ale (Big Storm Wavemaker) which was very quaffable! Spirits were dispensed from a gun, not sure if the featured bottles represented what came out though. Sorry, but the red wine was truly terrible! Room was a good size with comfortable beds, helped having an extra sink outside of the bathroom with kids brushing teeth etc. Telly worked well, good selection of channels with online access too. Wifi throughout the hotel was very reliable and fast. Storage was very limited, we practically lived out of suitcases for our time there. We were away for three weeks in total with lots of luggage, the available hanging space was suitable for no more than a weekend away. Would have been nice to have a bedside table either side of the bed with some more power outlets around the bed side of the room (plenty at the desk). Room was cleaned daily to a high standard with plenty of towels, coffee refills were sometimes missed. We used the shuttle buses on a daily basis. There were a few issues though. Three times a bus didn't turn up as per the schedule, we had to use a Lyft once to get back from a park (to ensure we didn't miss Kickback). One morning the driver of the first early bus went to the wrong park then no bus came until the next scheduled one for the park we wanted. Kevin was brilliant after a long park day, was good fun and played 80s hits at decent volume which many of us were singing along to (not George!!). Average journey was 30 minutes with some journeys going via another park en route. The whole schedule for the buses needs a little re-think, it was very difficult to get back to the parks in the evening, despite the buses physically going back and forth, some drivers would tell you what time they would be going back in which was a great help but it should be timetabled. The early buses arrived in some parks well before park opening and in others not early enough for rope drop. Big bonus being able to enter the parks early as a Disney Partner Hotel. There are a few typical American restaurants (burgers / steak / beers) only ten minutes walk from the hotel (turn left, away from Springs). Wife and daughter had their nails done up there for a good price too. Would not hesitate in staying here again, the free food saved us so much money given the price of food and drink in the parks and D.Springs. No resort fee, as it should be. We had 12 nights of much needed good quality sleep, even when the fire alarm went off (slept through it!!!).
