Resort very nice, ocean is very ready for folks.. mostly standing in water …but so warm Had a week here…and spent much time on roof top terrace… Hugo, Edison and Luis treated us very well and took extra time with us. Food and drinks were easy.. Food very nice at all restaurants Pools amazing for kids especially Lots of stuff to do Visit my friends on roof top terrace Great margaritas Jenny , Brandon, Mildred helped us a lot in concierge Enjoy

My husband and I stayed at this resort from 5/4 - 5/11 for our 8th wedding anniversary. The pics of the resort and the beach don't do them justice! The place is stunning!! The food was delicious and we only had 1 meal that my husband didn't love but its a foreign county and an AI so he just ordered something else, problem solved. The staff here is by far the best staff we have ever encountered anywhere...HANDS DOWN. The roof top bar and staff up there hit it out of the park...Jesus, Isabel, Pedro, Carmelo and our absolute favorite, Mayra. Mayra even gave me a small Mothers Day gift before we left. She is an exceptional human being. If I am forgetting anyone from the roof I am sorry, we loved you all so so much! The guys at the pool bar were amazing all day as well. Everyone everywhere was always smiling and happy and willing to help you with anything you needed. It was so lovely. My hubs and I had a freak medical emergency occur that landed us in the ER during our stay. From the medical staff on site to the concierge who arranged a taxi...thank you all so much!! They were so helpful and gracious and they checked up on my husband after the fact, even the doctor on site was asking about his wellbeing after the fact! Our trip went a bit sideways (ER trip that had absolutely NOTHING to do with the resort at all) but the staff was amazing at helping us make the best of it after the fact. Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart! We will definitely be back.

Stunning resort with an amazing view. The common areas are far more lovely than the rooms, but why would you want to stay in your room the whole time? Photos were accurate upon booking, if anything, the common areas were underplayed online. Lots of food options for any picky eaters but no real standouts. Definitely check out the entertainment in the lobby bar in the evenings! The swim up bar is fun in the sun during the day. The staff was extremely wonderful - every person was smiling and genuinely pleasant to interact with. "Paloma Excellente" from the afternoon salsa lesson was one of our favorites, as well as Gustavo, our waiter for the private dinner. I wish I could recall more names but I think I'll run out of characters if I were to list them all!!! We also did the Rocktails event in the nightclub and had a blast. Perhaps a little campy, but the energy is infectious!!

Visited April 21-27 with my husband, parents, and 4 month old baby. We had an excellent experience! I loved the view from the second floor of the ocean front rooms. The beach, pools, and property are beautiful and clean to perfection. I love how the resort is spread out where it never felt overcrowded and it’s not too big that it’s hard to get around. The food was amazing! We particularly loved the steaks at the French restaurant and everything at the Mexican restaurant. This was the first time I’ve traveled with a baby and it was very family friendly. Huge shout out to the customer service! Every employee works so hard and does an excellent job. I want to especially say thank you to Canelo at the wirikuta sunset bar, Cindy and Karen at the lobby bar, and Homberto at the beach bar where they had phenomenal fish tacos every day. My only complaints- the spa pool area was really disappointing compared to another spa I went to at an iberostar in playa del Carmen. The steam room and half of the pool jets were out of service and there aren’t any hot tubs. Other inconveniences with a baby and stroller is that the elevators are really small, take a long time, and we’re out of service a few times. Fun note- I saw 1 coati, 4 iguana, and a lot of kittens on the grounds during my stay and they were so cute!

Hugo at the prestige lounge club area is amazing. Makes you feel like family and will do anything he can to make your time here great. Edison is also great and they compliment each other well in the club area. Mildred in the prestige lounge took care of all our room needs and reservations Was a great experience and Hugo, Edison, and Mildred made it special.
