My family and I booked through Costco travel. We enjoyed ourselves from the moment we arrived. Plenty of activities, entertainment, and food options to keep everyone happy.

Our stay at Dreams Vallarta Bay was the best. We opted for the Preferred Club Tower, where we enjoyed the daily sandwiches they had and the attentive service from Jose Becerra, our gracious butler and the rest of the staff. The bed was also unbelievably comfortable - even my picky husband agreed. Plus, the hotel's proximity to the Malecon and local restaurants made exploring effortless. We even got to see fireworks one night (I'm guessing from the wedding taking place in the hotel)!! So cool!

Dreams was an absolute dream! We upgraded to the club level and it was great!! Noemi was absolutely fabulous and she assisted with our every need! The food was great and there were lots of restaurant choices. The resort did not feel like it was overcrowded. I would definitely recommend Dreams!!

I can't say enough about how great a vacation we had in the Preferred Club garden view king room we had. We booked through Southwest Vacations and got to the resort via Amstar. We were greeted and our luggage was taken to our beautiful room. We were escorted to the preferred club building where we met our butler Jose Becerra who was outstanding. He went above and beyond in terms of personal service. He escorted us to our restaurants personally. For our anniversary he gave us chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne. Hector Pulido...you need to give Jose a gold star for service. Christopher and Sarah of the entertainment staff were always terrific. They always were encouraging us to join in any activity. Christopher doing a cooking demo was a riot.. We also loved the Beatles show "Let It Be". Music in the lobby was always good. Drinks at all the bars were great. We tried new drinks like a Zombie, chocolate martini, or a Miami Vice.my wife said her sangrias were the best. Oceana and Castaways had the best seafood. The buffet was always a good start for breakfast in the morning. Our room was huge and had a great view of the pool and the ocean. the room was always made up with fresh towels .Turn down service gave us fresh towels and chocolates every night. We had beautiful sunsets every night and the ground were beautiful. My wife commented and I agree thay we will definitely come back.

I recently just visited this resort with my mom. It is a nice resort, but I think some things can definitely be different. The entertainment was not the best in the evenings Especially since it was in the lobby. I feel that it can definitely be improved. Unlike other resorts I have stayed at, there is usually something going on at night or on the beach not just mostly somebody playing the guitar in the lobby. Another thing that I didn’t like was right when you arrived and check-in, they try to talk to you immediately about activities and coupons and what not and I thought it felt like we were being bombarded. Especially after a long day of traveling, we just wanted to get to our room. The food was OK. I would say the grill by the pool probably had the best options and the Asian Infusion restaurant had the best appetizers. The Mexican restaurant was not good at all, I would give it zero stars. We mostly went offsite to eat at restaurants. I would say the location is probably the best part of the resort, it is easy access by Uber to go downtown or to nearby activities. The resort also has very pretty spots to look at the sunset, which is always a plus. I would like to Give a shout out to Dulce! She works the housekeeping and was so kind and sweet. I would give her five out of five stars!
