Excellent Hotel and Staff

We have been members of Palace Resorts for 25 years on 17th May 2024 and we thought about staying at the Sunrise this time. We have been here many times before and struggle to find fault with the staff and the food. There is one member of staff who has met us several times over the years at the Golf Villas and has always gone out of his way to help us. My wife’s health has deteriorated over the years and needs assistance more now than ever. After check in, we were conveyed with our luggage to the Golf Villas by the Bell Boys. We were met by Concierge Donato Chi who helped us with the luggage to our room and ensured everything was in place what we required and also sorted out a Golf Cart before he left. Please pass on our thanks to this guy for his kindness and courtesy.

Lunch at Moon Palace Cancun - Bugambilias.

The staff, Carlos, Antonio and Janet were superb. They were very attentive, friendly and outgoing. They went out of their way to ensure I was served a drink they don't serve during the lunch buffet. Now that is perfect r service. I will be back

Holiday of a lifetime

Best holiday ever. We stayed at Nizuc but visited the Grand and Sunrise. We were a party of 9 - 3 adults, 6 kids (15/14/11/11/9/7). We shared 3 standard rooms. Hotel put us all next to one another at our request. There were lots of activities for adults and kids alike. Sports, games, trivia, cocktail classes. Entertainment team were amazing. Expecially Braulio (Ray) and Kevin. They were so much fun. Beach was beautiful despite the seaweed which didn’t bother us at all coming from the West Coast of Scotland. Kayaking was fun but don’t go too far out unless you’re ready to use a lot of energy gettihg back in! Feels safe tho as there is a shark barrier. Restaurants you should try- Nizuc buffet is by far best for breakfast. Especially Jesus and his omelettes! Los tacos for lunch at the Grand with whole fresh mangoes on sticks! JD Steakhouse and Habibi at the Grand! Gandola at sunrise. Don’t worry if you’re not at Grand there is more than enough to keep you going st sunrise and Nizuc. Cocktails and drinks amazing. Mango margarita ???? just watch the virgin cocktails as our 7 y/o was given a non virgin strawberry daiquiri ????? and ended up sick. It was a genuine mistake I think because he was with his dad and they only ordered one drink. This was our best family holiday. We have already booked to return.

25 years of membership

Well what a day we’ve had celebrating been members FOR 25 years from strawberry dipped in chocolate to a surprise balloons in room also a cake . But the biggest surprise of all. Ana turning up with a box of flowers with 25 on it which made me cry . I would like to thank the public relations team for their dedication!!! This place is the best world wide to use. All the staff are fantastic they just can’t do enough for you.

Deceptive & Unethical Business Practices

Not one to, but three instances where the bar staff either lied or attempted to deceive us by pouring bottom shelf liquor from patron or grey goose bottles. The first occurred in the nightclub where I ordered a drink and noticed that it tasted very off. They went as far as making a show of pulling off a plastic wrap as if it were a new bottle. I noticed however it did not have a cork (which is standard for patron). I thought maybe this practice was isolated at that location—I was wrong. Second was at a pool side bar with the same tactics on vodka. Finally, on a separate occasion they conveniently “ran out,” but through a misstep accidentally exposed they had plenty behind the bar but were just throttling guest. It’s unethical and deceptive. I wonder where else they are cutting cost. Makes me think about the quality of the food.
